Clean and cozy. There are many cafes around. But it’s outside of the pick up area for some of the tours.

Really friendly and helpful staff who spoke a good deal of English. The hotel in general was not very clean and I saw a dead cockroach. The rooms, however, were spacious and seemed clean and the facilities were okay. No elevator; I had to climb the stairs with my heavy luggage. Breakfast was free and was good but was next door at a different hotel.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Emerald Hotel. The room was spacious, modern, and had all the amenities we needed. The staff went above and beyond – always friendly, helpful, and ready with recommendations. The location couldn't be better, within walking distance of the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. Highly recommend!
