"The hotel itself has everything you could ask for. Very spacy room, everything I could've needed was provided (a decent edge above the other hotels I've experienced in Vietnam), the staff was very helpful with everything I've asked of them, airport transfer was on time and very quick. Zero complaints about the room, very nice price/value. The only mild downsides one might want to be aware of: the view from the window was mainly unattractive neighboring buildings, the pool (with a nice view on the airport) was a bit too cold for my comfort and the next decent supermarket is about 15 minutes by foot. Still enjoyed my stay there though."

"The hotel was very conveniently located near Hoan Kiem Lake, making it easy to explore the Old Quarter on foot. The room was clean and quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep, though the bathroom was a bit small. The staff were kind and promptly assisted with luggage storage and directions. Nearby, I visited the Old Quarter Culture Exchange Center and enjoyed pho and banh cuon in the alleyways. The Van Phuc Silk Village tour booked through the hotel was well-explained, and the pick-up/drop-off was punctual, allowing ample time to observe the weaving process. It was a very satisfying stay, making it easy to dine and sightsee in the city center, which brought peace of mind for my first trip to Hanoi. I also appreciated being able to take evening strolls around the lake and easily access the market in the mornings. Overall, it was a comfortable trip."

"I recently stayed at Westlake Pearl Suites and had a mixed experience overall. The location is definitely a strong point. It’s situated in Tay Ho, an area with plenty of great cafes and restaurants, and it’s also conveniently close to Lotte Mall for shopping. It’s not too far from the Hoan Kiem tourist area either, so getting around is fairly easy. The room itself had some positives—the bed was large and very comfortable, and I appreciated having a smart TV so I could connect to my Netflix and relax with a movie in the evenings. However, there were a few downsides. The room had a noticeable bad smell, like someone had smoked in it previously, and the bathroom also had an unpleasant odor coming from the drain. It would really help if the hotel used air fresheners or addressed the ventilation to improve this. Breakfast is quite basic but does the job and has the essentials you’d expect. One thing to be aware of is the check-in and check-out times—worth double-checking in advance to avoid any confusion. Another thing to note is that the hotel advertises having a gym, but there isn’t actually one on-site. It’s located in a different building or hotel, which was a bit misleading. Overall, while the location and some room features were good, there are a few areas that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable."

"Usually, the criteria for a hotel are a nice location, good amenities, cleanliness, quietness, privacy, and customer data security. But this hotel has nothing good except for its location. The room was very dirty, the bed sheets weren't changed and were very damp. We had to lay a bathrobe on the bed to sleep. The bathroom had mold, and the towels were more like floor cloths. The free water on the table was boiled and bottled by the hotel itself, and it was very easy to open (we don't even know what anyone might have put in it). Normally, in a hotel like this, the staff would be decent, but not here. The staff mistakenly gave us the wrong room, and even though we were there for 15-20 minutes, they didn’t inform us. They waited until we went out and greeted the staff (Phuc), and only then did he come up on his own to move our things to another room (there was no privacy or security here). Then, when we came back, he demanded the key and ordered us to change rooms. Even 2-3 star hotels don’t save money or treat guests this badly. As a result, we all had allergic reactions, and my girlfriend lost a handheld mirror"

"Excellent! The location is super convenient, close to all the attractions. There's a famous pho place right downstairs, and Hanoi's most famous bar is just a 1-minute walk away. The room is very new and gets cleaned daily. Plus, it has a bidet toilet! Because of this, I honestly think this hotel is flawless! They have their own coffee shop downstairs; it smelled great, but I didn't try anything. The only downside is the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear the elevator from the room, but it's a minor issue and didn't affect my sleep. All in all, I highly recommend this place!"
