📍 No. 4 Luong Ngoc Quyen, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi

Little Diamond Hotel
8.3 (192 reviews)

Little Diamond Hotel ★★★

📍 11 P. Bát Đàn, Phố cổ Hà Nội, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi

"Arrived in the city early and was allowed to leave my suitcase and backpacks. The friendly young woman at the front desk who greeted us spoke excellent English. The place has a very vintage feel, with wood carvings, massive furniture, and an expensive look. The shower handle broke, and they quickly replaced the entire system. The staff member who handled all our issues was very polite and well-mannered. The only thing we couldn't get used to was him opening the doors for everyone every time you entered or exited. But that's apparently part of their etiquette and rules. Our room was on the sixth floor. The elevator was working, but I chose to take the stairs for exercise. Overall, it's a good option, and I'd consider returning. I've included a photo of the view from the window. The location is top-notch, right in the city center."

Tru by Hilton Hanoi Station
8.2 (406 reviews)

Tru by Hilton Hanoi Station ★★★★

📍 115 Tran Hung Dao Str Cua Nam Ward, Cua Nam, Hanoi

"Facilities: There's a paid laundry room and a free gym. Service: The service was excellent; they even gave me an extra breakfast. The breakfast spread was generous and included noodles. Environment: The hotel is located opposite the train station, but there's road construction outside, making it a bit hard to find."

S79 Alley House 90 Tran Nhat Duat
8.8 (178 reviews)

S79 Alley House 90 Tran Nhat Duat ★★★

📍 90 Tran Nhat Duat, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi

"The hotel's hygiene was terrible. There was no duvet, only a thin sheet, when I went to bed at night. In the morning, the face towel was completely soaked with soapy water (the front desk said it was normal and fine). The room door lock was very difficult to open. The room photos on Ctrip are fake."

Le Grand Hanoi Hotel ★★★
"I stayed 4 nights in total at this hotel. I like the fact that we didn’t need to ask for room service. However, that one lady from reception gives off the mean girl vibe(maybe it’a just her rbf and the way she talks). It was 27$ sgd a night and I would say it’s worth for what you pay. We take grab to central area every day since it’s a bit far(costs around 50000-60000 vnd each trip). The room is big and I like the fact that the tv has varieties to choose(Netflix, youtube, etc.). The bathroom is spacious and nth is spoiled. Toilet has bidet and tissue. The aircon works well too. Around the hotel doesn’t have much restaurants, so we always order grab food(only have circle k and a few cafes). I recommend this hotel if you’re on a budget trip."

"Location, cleanliness were good. Also, it was away from the old quarter noise. As the hotel is in old quarters (hotels back to back), do note that some rooms do not have real windows but with scenery paintings instead."

"The room was a bit small, which is typical for hotels in Hanoi. Breakfast was decent, on par with a typical hotel in China. The staff were friendly and polite. Overall, it was a good stay. Less than 800 RMB for three nights, so great value for money. Can't really ask for more!"

"The hotel was a bit hard to find, located down a small alley next to a memorial hall, which initially made me think I'd taken a wrong turn. It's the first time I've encountered a hotel like this. **Environment:** Honestly, the sanitary conditions were the worst I've ever experienced. The room was rundown, and the mattress and sheets were old and worn. We didn't dare take off our clothes or use their thin, old comforter when we slept. Thankfully, I brought long sleeves. It was quite a miserable stay. **Service:** The front desk attendant's service was alright. He even saw us off at the door when we checked out, which was a good point. The location wasn't bad either."
