2-Star Hotels in Hanoi

The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, and our room and bed were very comfortable. We slept wonderfully here. There's construction nearby, but it wasn't particularly noisy. There were pineapples in the elevator, presumably for the scent – they smelled so sweet I almost wanted to eat them! 😊 The breakfast was quite good. The manager regularly checked in with us to ensure everything was to our liking and that we were comfortable.

I had booked the “1 Bedroom Deluxe - Washing Machine Included” room type, but when I checked in, the room I was given had no washing machine. This was after I was charged 70,000 VND for checking in an hour and a bit early. So I went back to reception to request to be changed to another room, which they did. I went to the new room and as it was a very hot day, I immediately went to turn on the air conditioning, only to find that there was only an air conditioner in the bedroom. What had looked like an air conditioner in the living room in the hotel listing photos is actually a fake one - it’s a wooden box attached to the wall and painted white to look like an air conditioner, as shown in one of the photos I will attach. So I went back to reception again to ask if there were other rooms with real air conditioners in the living room. They said no, all rooms are the same. But they said that they could give me the loan of a fan to help, which I accepted. Fans should have already been in all of the rooms, as they are in other Hà Nội hotels. However the very next evening, the manager came and banged on the door and wanted the fan back, saying that her friend was feeling hot, and as the fan was not part of the hotel, I should let her take it back. This was weird - if it wasn’t part of the hotel, why offer me the use of it in the first place? So I said no. Cleanliness was also substandard, with the floor not cleaned well. The other room facilities are good, and the location is also good, being about a 25 minute walk to one of the biggest mega-malls in Hà Nội, and plenty of dining options in the area around. This was my second stay at an Era Apartments property, and both srays had problem issues. So I’ll be avoiding the the Era Apartments chain in the future.

This hotel was in the best location after traveling by sleeper train. It was easy to get around from here and offered great value for money. The breakfast was delicious too. It's a perfect first hotel upon arrival in Hanoi.

The room was clean and didn't smell like smoke. The only inconvenience was the lack of an elevator, but otherwise, everything was fine.

Amenities: Many services include air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and blankets, with some also offering a bottle of water. Booking ease: Users have booked through Klook, and some found it easy and with good reviews, although they also noted that booking directly with a specific company like Sao Viet was an option.

Stayed for 10 days and felt very good. The host will speak some Chinese. After booking, an email will be sent to inform the gate password, the location of the room card, the password of the room card and then self-check in. I don't know Vietnamese or English, and the Chinese don't have the habit of reading emails. When I arrive at the place, I still contact Trip.com and contact the host to help me stay. Thank them! The room is very large, there is a large master bedroom area, the facilities are also very complete, the wifi speed is very fast, the house is very clean and there is no smell, there is a balcony and a large window to light, I pay more attention to the room lighting. It is very good to be in a police station next to it. There are two small shops 50 meters from the door, and there is a supermarket not far from the aisle.

Can trip.com help this hotel improve when it comes to cleanliness so that no one will be a victim of insects and at least what we paid for is worth it. I cant imagine myself on my stay in this hotel that I jumped out from my bed because the rat pass near my forehead while I was just resting and because of this I was awake until morning. They transfer me to another room but cant still sleep due the noise near my room. They transfer me again for the 3rd room,but I just really survived on my 3rd day because I get tired of telling them. On the third room,there is a fly, ants and other small insects. I dont know how they clean. So traumatic experience with the mouse,in my whole life,first time I experience rat crawling near my forehead and even the rat enjoy big bite on my bread that I place in my bag. Please trip.com,help this hotel improve if possible because I like to book hotels and flights thru trip.com.I was not able to take photos of the rat because of my nervousness that time.

I only stayed one night, but despite the short duration, my accommodation far exceeded my expectations. The cozy decor and warm atmosphere of the place offered a home-like experience, far from the coldness of a large hotel. Every step, from check-in to check-out, was smooth and meticulous. My room was clean, tidy, and well-ventilated. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled fresh; the bathroom felt modern and hygienic. The attention to small details (extra towels, small amenity kits) enhanced the comfort. It's centrally located in the Ba Đình area, within walking distance to nearby tourist attractions and public transport stops. Evening strolls and access to nearby cafes/markets were very easy. If you're planning short trips in the city, the location offers a significant advantage. The host was very hospitable and helpful; check-in was quick and seamless. They provided practical recommendations about the area and immediately assisted me when I had an urgent request. Communication was polite and professional.

We only stayed a night and was upgraded to a double room. The facilities are old and basic but did the job for a night. The location is walking distance from a lot of hot spots in Hanoi.

It was pretty good experience for me. Because they have a coffee shop upstair which run by young people of Hanoi, very nice people. Without booking this hotel, i would never knew them. The people here are warm, also if you are tourist, you need to aware that the front main door of the hotel is closed before mid night. I think which is cool somehow with proper security but the disadvantage is you can't come back hotel anytime, altought you can, it very bad feeling to wake the security guy up everytime. the price is very suitable and its on the way to High way and town, great location not so far from town and not so close.
