"The room itself was generally comfortable. However, at around 20 sqm, the space is quite compact and may feel tight for more than one guest or when travelling with multiple pieces of luggage.
One feature that felt slightly unusual was the sliding window facing the corridor, which may affect the sense of privacy for some guests.
One area that could benefit from improvement is the presentation of the corridor, particularly on the first floor where we stayed.
Theres no lighting in the corridor and overall atmosphere felt rather dark.
In addition, the carpet outside the rooms appeared dusty and not well maintained, and cleaning equipment such as a vacuum was left in the hallway.
As the property positions itself under the name “Grandeur,” maintaining brighter lighting and a cleaner, well-presented corridor with a nice smel around the hotel would help create a stronger first impression for guests.
During breakfast service, one kitchen staff member was coughing near the food preparation area without a mask. Similarly, in the early morning there were staff members at the front desk area who were also coughing without masks.
While this may be unintentional, maintaining strong hygiene practices is important for guest confidence, particularly around food service and guest-facing areas.
The early morning front desk interaction with the male staff member lacked the warmth typically expected at reception.
In terms of positive service, I would like to specifically commend Ms. Dung at the reception. She was warm, professional, and communicated very well in English. Her hospitality stood out and made the stay more pleasant."
