My stay at Classyc Hotel in Hanoi’s Old Town district was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled right in the heart of the bustling Old Quarter, the hotel perfectly balances comfort, elegance, and accessibility—making it an ideal base for exploring the city. From the moment I arrived, the staff made a lasting impression with their warm hospitality and attentiveness. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I immediately felt welcomed. The team was always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and even small personal touches that made the experience feel truly special. The room itself was beautifully designed, combining modern amenities with subtle touches of Vietnamese charm. It was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly quiet despite being located in such a lively area. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the thoughtful details—from quality toiletries to complimentary refreshments—added to the overall sense of luxury. One of the highlights of staying at Classyc Hotel is its prime location. Being situated in the Old Town district means that many of Hanoi’s famous attractions, local eateries, and vibrant street markets are just a short walk away. Whether you’re interested in exploring cultural landmarks or simply soaking in the atmosphere, everything is conveniently within reach. The breakfast offered at the hotel was another standout feature. With a variety of both local and international options, each meal was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying—perfect for starting a day of sightseeing. Overall, Classyc Hotel delivers an outstanding experience for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality in Hanoi. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city and would gladly stay here again on my next trip.

We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi. The hotel was excellent overall, and what stood out the most was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. As we are from an Indian background, we found it difficult to enjoy some of the Asian dinner options. The team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable by specially preparing Indian breakfast items for us during our stay. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated. We were also touched when the staff packed fresh mangoes for us to take on our flight. A special thank you to the Kitchen Assistant Manager, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. The exceptional service and genuine care shown by the team made our visit memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

The hotel boasts an excellent location in the city center, allowing easy walking access to many of Hanoi's attractions. Opened earlier this year, it features a modern design and brand-new facilities. Their wellness center is a must-visit, with two pools. One is an outdoor rooftop pool, offering a fantastic resort-like vibe. The other, an indoor heated pool on the second basement level, is fully equipped and high-end, complete with a Jacuzzi and a meditation room. The service was attentive and enthusiastic; many of the hotel staff are young, and I felt a vibrant warmth from them. I'd like to extend a special thanks to HANNA, RACHELLE, and other staff members from the concierge team. They provided immense help during my stay, handling many things and making me feel right at home. They truly deserve recognition!

Excellent customer service from the staff. The location was prime and close to everything. Two minute walk away from the lake.  I had book for the deluxe room for the first two days they put me in a smaller room and then they said they were gonna upgrade me. Not sure if it was an upgrade or downgrade. The photos on the website showed that it was a stand in shower but the first two days I had a tub shower. Shower had a tiny bit of mold but this is nitpicking.  Other than the shower issue, everything went well. The staff is ultra friendly. Very nice, care about you. They know you by name and room number so it shows that they’re very tentative . I definitely would recommend this hotel to anybody.  On the last note, the hotel that offered to book me a taxi to the airport, initially they quoted me 400,000 but I said grab was cheaper and then they quoted me 230,000 with discount. I couldn’t help me disappointed that I got quoted at the higher price first instead of just automatically giving me the discount. It would’ve definitely gave me a better impression.  I’m not sure if it was the language barrier and they did offer the discount, because I’m from South Vietnam and the dialect is different in the north. I just hope I’m wrong.

Stayed at Splendid Premium Hotel in Hanoi. Very good location - right in the center, near Hoan Kiem Lake, with many restaurants, cafes, and massage places around. Also close to the sightseeing bus stop and the water puppet theatre. Rooms depend on the category. Basic rooms may have a window facing an internal corridor, so no natural light or fresh air. Better to choose a room with a proper window if possible. The room had all essentials - kettle, tea, toiletries, clean towels, and comfortable beds. Shower drainage could be improved. Safe was provided upon request. Staff were very friendly and attentive - welcome tea, small snacks, and help with luggage. There is a rooftop pool (covered) and a lounge area. Overall, a good option for a short stay with strong location and good value for money.

Best overall value in Old Quarter – no construction noise, great breakfast and views with hospitable staff! After many hours researching 80+ five-star hotels in Hanoi, we finally chose May De Ville Lakeside for our own five-day stay and future family group tour. I visited other properties but it is well managed with a team of hospitality professionals. May De Ville Lakeside genuinely offers the best value for money we found. Why we loved it: • No construction noise or late-night parties, rare in the Old Quarter • Welcoming, multilingual staff that delivered genuine Vietnamese hospitality • Prime location, walkable but peaceful to the lake. Everything outside the front door, restaurants and shopping with a great in-house spa. • Scenic rooftop bar and a rooftop pool, perfect for relaxing before our late-night flight • Affordable spa indulgence • The buffet breakfast overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake was the best we had in a month of Asian travels with Mr. Richard readily topping up our coffee. Mrs. Hannah was most perceptive to resolve one issue but all staff are proactive to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. Tips: * We initially booked a “Deluxe Internal Window” on first night which was suitable for short stay but moved to a Premier City View room for four nights that was great. But be careful: many of the cheaper “lead-in” rates are for rooms with only an internal window (no outside view). * Read the room features carefully before booking. Great sunset views from rooms ending in 07, 05 and 03 on west side. * Trust reviews from the booking platform you normally use and consider becoming a member for better benefits. Overall, this hotel ticks all the boxes. We would happily stay again and will return later this year with our large extended family of four generations. Only complaint was Price Match policy where we could have saved money to spend in the Rooftop Bar ;-(

The boutique hotel is conveniently located near the main attractions, although there is a lot of traffic. The deluxe room has a contemporary style with Asian touches. Our first room was close to the street, so we couldn’t sleep well because of the noise. After talking to the front desk, we were moved to a quiet room, which made the rest of our stay wonderful. I tried their massage, which was very relaxing. I totally recommend it! Overall, the staff was attentive and very friendly, always ready to help and offer recommendations.

Thank you to the amazing service staff at the legend hotel for making our stay comfortable. We arrived at 6am with a young child who was unwell and the hotel concierge went out of their way to ensure that we were well taken care of. Many thanks for the hospitality and kindness we received from the front desk.

Rephrase nicely and polite please: the overall experience was good (close to the mart - reasonable price, pickball, tennis/table tennis/pool 8 balls/ and swimming on site) until s male receptionist named Hieu decided to go above and beyond to tell us that he needed to check the room. It was around 12ish. We showed him the booking via trip.com. it stated thay we have until 2pm to check out. He refused to accept it. I asked if i could speak to a manager, this big ego guy was adamant thay it will still be the same outcome and threatened if we dont check out now there will be additional fee cherged for late checkout. We went to see a manager and she confirmed indeed it was 2pm. His ego crashed and hid inside another room to get away from embarrassment. Then at 1.40pm we recieved a call from trip.com telling us that the hotel rang them to remind us to check out. We told trip.com that it was your plateform thay stated 2pm. This is well within the allowable time frame. We even told them the hotel manager confirmed it was 2pm check out. Why they simply take instructions from a guy named hieu seeking his little revenge without checking the facts. I was wondering about his motivation and why he picked on us...and how did he know we were to check out today..only a few reasons i could come up with and money is probably one of them. There was no apology or nothing but a cold look exchange. Here’s a more polished and polite version of your message while still keeping your point clear: Overall, our stay was pleasant. However, our experience was unfortunately affected by an incident with a male receptionist named Hieu. At around 12:00 pm, he approached us insisting that we check out so he could inspect the room. We showed him our booking confirmation via Trip.com, which clearly stated that our check-out time was 2:00 pm. Despite this, he refused to acknowledge it. When I politely asked to speak with a manager, he insisted that the outcome would not change and warned that we would be charged an additional fee if we did not check out immediately. We then spoke directly with the manager, who confirmed that our check-out time was indeed 2:00 pm. Later, at around 1:40 pm, we received a call from Trip.com informing us that the hotel had contacted them to remind us to check out. We clarified that our booking clearly allowed check-out until 2:00 pm and that this had already been confirmed by the hotel manager. It was disappointing that this follow-up occurred without verifying the situation properly. The situation left us feeling uncomfortable, particularly as there was no apology or clarification afterward—only a rather cold interaction. While the facilities and overall stay were enjoyable, this experience with staff communication and handling of the situation was disappointing. We were pleased with the rest of our interactions with other staff there. Thank you for your warm and welcoming service.

/!\ Avoid this hotel. We would never recommend this hotel for your stay in Hanoi. Stayed 18-20 April 2025: 3 days, 2 nights. 1/ Overbooking situation - cancellation the day before landing My friend and I booked two separate rooms to stay at this hotel, the day before the check in, my friend's booking got cancelled by the hotel without information. We had contacted the hotel several times in vain, then it was confirmed that they have overbooked the hotel which caused to trouble to start with our holiday. Hotel Director of sales M. Victor N. did replied by email on the checking day 18/4 few hours before that ”we don't know the fact. You can make your reservation on our website now.” The remaining option on 18/4 morning was a ”suite” 14 times higher rate than our initial booking... Therefore once arrived at Hanoi, we wanted to get a refund of my remaining booking but the hotel reception lady Mrs Ruby was not helpful at first and rude towards us. Her non hospitality professionalism and communication led us feel very unwelcomed (no smile, no thank you, speaking vietnamese with her colleague in front of us). May need to review if she really should stay at the reception as this is client facing interaction and should be solution driven. She strictly insisted that she doesn't know why we only got one room left and my booking was non refundable even tough they did cancelled my friend's one few hours ago. After negotiation, she kept saying as it is non refundable, either we stay, either we book another room. At that moment, there was an another room not the Suite one that just got available ”King room” and if we could pay the price difference which is higher than our initial paid booking and need to stay together in the same room. As we just started the holidays and to not loose the money that we could not get refunded, we paid the difference to change to that room. We paid in cash to get that room. We thought that was going to be just one off issue/misunderstanding and could start our holidays. Note: If you pay in credit card they will charge 3% additional. The exchange rate is more convenient to change at jewelry gold shop in Hàng Bac street (5 mins walk), the rate at the hotel is too high, don't change there. 2/ Cleanliness As we got this better king's room with window, we were expecting that to be at least clean and suitable for 2 pax. The bed sheets and cushions were yellowish, the floor was not vacuum (dead bees staying there whole stay), the slippers are dirty, the wall is stained and some unfinished renovation. The worst is the shower/bathtub, once you shower, it will flood to the room, we had to put towels to absorb the water in the room. You have to ask for towels if they clean your room as they will forget. 3/ Breakfast Be aware that it is from 6:30am to 9:30am, the breakfast is correct as a mini buffet Overall this hotel is average, the positive points are the location and the other gentleman receptionist allowing us to have a ”late check out” at noon instead of 11am, as if after noon they will charge one night more. The hotel should stop with overbooking rooms that will cause unnecessary stress situation for everyone and need to be renovated. To be honest, you can have much more great options nearby, CLEAN and with great hospitality service. As part of holidays and for a decent price, just book another hotel to avoid negative start for your holidays. Enjoy your stay in Hanoi and in Vietnam! PS: on some platform it is indicated there is a gym but there is none. And the hotel team is aware of these comments as we filled the same to their paper review form.
