Amazing
AAnonymous User1. The location is excellent, right next to Hoan Kiem Lake, making it very convenient to visit all the famous attractions.
2. The service is a major highlight; it's simply superb. They offer personalized, one-on-one service, and the front desk staff even escorts you to your room. They are very enthusiastic and have excellent English skills. There's also a male staff member who speaks Chinese.
3. The downside is that the rooms are a bit narrower compared to those in China, which seems to be a common characteristic of hotels in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Surprisingly, the two bottles of mineral water in the room were chargeable, which is something they could definitely improve.
GGuest UserThe apartment was clean and tidy. It was my first time booking an apartment, so I was a bit nervous at check-in, but everything went smoothly. The location is also quite convenient, right in the city center, with plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby.
BBon LawWe stayed at hotel chateau de hanoi for 2 nights and overall, it was an under-average experience. For its price (pre-discount and considering we were in Vietnam) it might not be that worth it.
We booked the hotel because of its high-rated reviews and its branding as a 5 star boutique hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks and the staff was friendly. We arrived hanoi quite early, so we asked if we could do an early check-in. We were informed by the staff that an early check-in was not impossible, but there was an extra charge. It was however totally understandable that the hotel has their arrangements so we went along with the regular check-in time, but the staff quite passive aggressively told us that they informed us on WhatsApp— we were on a flight and later on a Grab to the hotel so we were unable to read the message entirely. I would expect a 5-star service to be more understanding.
To be very honest, I would doubt if the hotel qualifies to be categorized into a 5-star hotel. Of course, the hotel provides customers with all the necessary amenities like toothbrush and shaving kits, but the hotel room didn’t have a window and lighting was insufficient. There was a bathtub, but there was no proper standing shower and it was just a shower head next to the toilet without curtains or doors. The twin bed was extremely small and too easy to be moved around (in a sense that if I wanted to sit at the edge of bed, the mattress would slide to that side).
Hygiene was fine but some areas such as the wall and the bathing area could be improved. We ran out of tissue paper in the room as well but after housekeeping the box was still empty and not replaced with a new box of tissue. Soundproofing at the hotel was not solid since we could constantly hear noises from next door during midnight.
In our booking package free breakfast was included, so we checked it out in the morning. A small buffet was provided, but the plates and utensils had oil on them. There was a set menu, but the scrambled eggs were not up to par and the pho was okay. Considering the hotel brands itself as a 5-star hotel, I would expect better hygiene and quality check.
Location-wise, the hotel is located at the heart of Old Quarter. It is convenient but this also means traffic can get very hectic nearby. Moreover we realized the staff was getting less and less friendly as we reached the end of our stay. It would be nice if their attitude and service could be more consistent, again, given it is a 5-star hotel.
Tthe traveling girlI am obsessed with this hotel
I love love love it.
I'm a hotel snob. So trust I check everything .
I only stayed two nights and already had another place pre booked and I regret not staying at the Camilla hotel for my whole four nights.
The hotel doesn't have a restaurant or a pool.
But it is absolutely amazing.
Recently I've been so fed up of paying for basic, plain , colourless and lifeless rooms .
But this room has character in every inch of it !
The room had so much natural light.
Everything there had so much detail. Even every door handle and door nob had detail.
The bathroom was beautiful and even had a bamboo styled tap .
I know these things seem weird to mention but I usually stay at high end hotels like the Ritz. I over pay for .. maybe the service ? But I wanted to try something new and I'm so glad I did.
I over look at rooms especially for their hygiene and The room was spotless everywhere ! And I really check deeply.
The bath was large and relaxing.
The living room has cute plants and nice pottery to eat from.
There was even a hidden washer and dryer .
A large wardrobe in the bedroom .
A desk area.
So many convient things which were also beautifully designed into the room .
The room also smelt lovely
No fake air freshener smell .
The service staff didn't speak English but it wasn't an issue they were extremely helpful and friendly and accommodating, they also replied very fast through email.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone visiting Hanoi to be the same.
Maybe it's a little far from the city center ? But look on the map where you want to book.
Everything was an easy 20 minute walk .
I wish I could live in this hotel room I loved it so much.
AAIKA SEEI had a great stay at Bespoke Trendy Hotel. We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised that the hotel allowed us to check in before the standard check-in time.
Initially, we were assigned a King Bed room, but we had requested two single beds. The staff handled our request professionally and arranged the beds while we were out, which we really appreciated.
The location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the area. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English.
As a thoughtful gesture, the hotel also gave us two tea bags upon check-out. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with great service, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.
JJiaowoxiaodouyaThis was a last-minute decision, staying one night in the city center. I chose a slightly better option near Hoan Kiem Lake, as it was my first time visiting Vietnam. What a pleasant surprise to check in without having to stand awkwardly at the front desk! Instead, I could comfortably sit, enjoy complimentary watermelon and drinks, while the staff processed everything. A very friendly and beautiful staff member even gave us a detailed English explanation of nearby attractions like the night market and Train Street – it was truly impressive, something even five-star hotels often don't offer! The room itself was a bit standard and the facilities were a little dated, but overall it was perfectly fine. It was also very convenient for going out to eat. The hotel breakfast was quite satisfying, with both Chinese and Western options. They’d even bring pho directly to your table after you ordered, and someone would come around to pour juice. Plus, they had my favorite passion fruit! There are a few steps at the entrance, and the staff were quick to help with our luggage. No wonder so many people love coming to Vietnam for vacation!
JJacob-WThe room decor is a bit dated, but it's well-maintained. The twin room felt a bit small because of the beds, and I was slightly disappointed there was no bathtub, as previous stays at this hotel always had one. This is a standard large hotel, featuring a swimming pool, gym, and spa. The buffet restaurant also meets typical large hotel standards, offering a rich variety of Western, Japanese, and Vietnamese cuisine. I've always been very satisfied.

EExpat EDventuresWhat a great location in the middle of the hustle in bustle! This hotel is a family owned and operated business. We met the owners son and wife who manage the property and they are lovely people and give great recommendation. Check-in was quick and seamless. They greeted us with welcome tea and gave us a map with a thorough briefing of the best places to eat and visit. They even ran our luggage up and had someone turn the AC on before we got in our room so it would be cool upon entry. The room was cozy and the bed had a supportive mattress but I am partial to the hard beds of Asia. Breakfast was at the top in a beautiful space and they made your eggs to order. I only wish the shower door did a better job of keeping the water in. We tried to book them after our HaLong Bay cruise canceled but sadly they were fully booked. We will be back!
AAlex0306The hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient to get around and explore the area. The room was a nice size, offering plenty of space to relax, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.
GGuest UserI usually book hotels, but this was my first time booking an apartment. The location wasn't easy to find (it's in a small alley, at the very back). I didn't know where to go until I saw the sign at the very back. The price was affordable, and the room was brand new. Going there with my girlfriend felt like a newlywed couple.
