"Arrived at Noi Bai Airport in the early hours of the morning, and it was easy to walk to. The sleeping pod had enough space, even for someone 190cm tall to sleep comfortably. The pod's details were well thought out, accommodating needs like bag storage and phone charging. There are also lockers with keys for larger luggage within the facility. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. There's a washing machine and a self-service convenience store on the ground floor. It's also very close to the bus stop."

I'm a Japanese guest who stayed on July 13th, 2026. The owner, or perhaps the man at the front desk, was very helpful and assisted me in English. The first floor is a cafe, so there isn't really a common area for guests to relax in, as it's used by regular customers. The shower is inside the room (separated by a door). The sink is also in the room, so there's a possibility of noise if your roommates come back late. I wore earplugs and fell asleep quickly, so it didn't bother me much. Shampoo and conditioner were provided, but the dispenser on the left was broken and unusable. I'm not sure if the middle one worked; I was too lazy to check and just washed my hair with water. However, it was very clean. There were no strange smells or insects. The air conditioning was on full blast, which was a bit of a downside as it got quite cold. I couldn't find the remote control. There was no duvet, just a single sheet. You'd need to wear extra clothes to stay warm. Despite that, the location is excellent. It's not tucked away in an alley but on a bright street, with plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Toothbrushes and bottled water were also provided! Overall, I'd say it's a good hostel for its 2000 yen price point. The Wi-Fi was incredibly fast. Whether your stay here is comfortable or not really depends on your roommates.

Hanoi Airport Early Morning Flight Accommodation Recommendation | VATC SleepPod Terminal 1 (★★★★★) This time, I had an early morning domestic flight and didn't want to rush to the airport from the city at 2 or 3 AM, so I chose to stay at VATC SleepPod Terminal 1. I can truly say, it was a decision well worth it! ✅ Located on the 3rd floor of Terminal 1 (T1) at Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, it's just a few minutes' walk to the domestic check-in counters, which is incredibly convenient for those with early morning flights. Although the room is a capsule hotel style, it was much more comfortable than I expected. It was clean and tidy, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, power outlets, and a reading light all available. The bed was also very comfortable, and the soundproofing was good enough for a few hours of proper rest. Its biggest advantage is getting extra sleep without having to fumble around in the dark from the city in the middle of the night, and no worries about traffic jams or not being able to find a taxi. After waking up, you can walk a few minutes to check-in, making the whole trip much more relaxed. The only minor drawback is that there's no private bathroom in the room; you need to use the airport terminal's public restrooms. However, if it's just for one night to catch an early morning flight, I think it's completely acceptable. My personal rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) If you're like me and have an early morning flight from Hanoi Airport, I highly recommend staying at VATC SleepPod Terminal 1. Spending a little on accommodation for ample sleep and a relaxed departure is truly worth it! ✈️ Recommendation Index: ★★★★★ 📍 Location: 3rd Floor, Terminal 1 (Domestic Terminal), Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi 🛏️ Suitable for: Early morning flights, late-night arrivals, short overnight stays, transit passengers.

Grogu on the road
One of the worst customer services we have had in more than 6 months in Asia. Upon arrival, the receptionist assigned us two upper beds, despite us arriving at 6:00 AM and having booked weeks in advance. Politely, using both English and a translator, we asked to change to bottom beds, as we noticed upon entering the room that out of the 6 beds, only the two of us had checked in, and we asked if we could be near each other since we are a couple. Her response? ”Impossible! We are fully booked! The system does not allow changes.” Repeatedly. We innocently thought it was a system problem. Since we had a second consecutive reservation, we managed to get her to agree to change us for the second booking. When the day arrived, she moved us to another room, much worse, with bottom beds but separated. We complained to stay in the same room, negotiating for just one bottom bed since it seemed ”impossible” to have both, even though it was 9:00 AM and almost all the beds had been vacated by guests! At first, once again ”impossible,” but after insisting, she agreed to only one bottom bed. When asking to change the top bed because it was right next to the door—which rattled and practically didn't let me sleep for two nights—again: NO, IMPOSSIBLE. After having to ask her several times, she reluctantly agreed and did both changes in ONE minute. Was it THAT difficult? And also, clearly it was NOT a system issue in the end, which was very dissapointing. The beds are comfortable, but if you have a bed in room 3A next to the door, the door mechanism does not cushion the impact and the door makes the entire wall next to your head in the cubicle rattle VERY loudly. They should have a way to muffle the door noise. A LOT of street noise comes in through the balcony door. If you are a light sleeper, better look for another option. The cleaning staff makes a great effort to keep everything clean, as it is a hostel where they don't give you ”slippers”; therefore, all the dirt from the street comes in with your shoes, and when stepping on the wet bathroom floor from the shower, it gets spread everywhere. They give you clean towels every day, which is an interesting plus. In the end, it was a mixed experience, with a very dissapointing aftertaste because of the receptionist treatment. If you are looking for cheap facilities for a short stay, it is good. If you have problem with noise, be careful of room 3A. Location and neighborhood is nice.

As a dormitory-style accommodation, I'd rate this facility around 95 points. This is due to its user-friendly operational setup, the ease of communication in English, and the sufficient provision of basic services like luggage storage. However, there are a few points to note, which I'd like to share below. Firstly, the bunk beds are showing their age. While individual perceptions may vary, some caution is needed when using the upper bunk. The beds have a pipe frame structure, which meant stepping on the ladder put a significant strain on my feet, and sitting down caused noticeable swaying from side to side and front to back, indicating structural instability. That said, this can be somewhat mitigated by users' own ingenuity and isn't a fatal flaw. However, a more practical issue was the stability of the power outlets installed within the bed. Although both Type A and Type C plugs could be used, the connection was extremely unstable. Specifically, when only a Type A plug was used, it frequently disconnected on its own. Consequently, smooth charging during the night was not possible, which was undeniably a source of stress. In summary, while there are some complaints regarding the bed-area facilities, considering the overall accommodation fee and location, I believe this is a facility well worth considering, hence this rating. [Addendum] Large luggage must be placed in the designated luggage area. However, this area does not have any locking mechanisms. Therefore, I strongly recommend bringing your own simple locking devices, such as a padlock.

This is a great hostel and it was a relaxing spot to wrap up a memorable trip in Northern Vietnam. It was an easy 10 minute walk from the Hanoi Train Station after returning from Ninh Binh. The mattress was soft and space was very clean. The 4th floor common space was a great spot to read/work/relax. The staff were very kind and helpful. I look forward to coming back here.

It was my first time to experience a youth hostel. The experience of spending New Year's Eve alone was very unique. The hotel is in a unique location, very close to West Lake, and the room is clean, tidy and safe. The owner speaks very good English and is very enthusiastic. Overall, it gave me a great experience. I stayed there for another night after the first day. I still recommend it!

I noticed almost imperceptible sweat stains on the pillow. The shampoo and shower gel bottles were almost empty. The air conditioning had a musty smell. However, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was also good. The taxi service was reasonably priced, even cheaper than Grab, but the SIM card was much more expensive than what you could buy in the city. The owner is very friendly.

Can trip.com help this hotel improve when it comes to cleanliness so that no one will be a victim of insects and at least what we paid for is worth it. I cant imagine myself on my stay in this hotel that I jumped out from my bed because the rat pass near my forehead while I was just resting and because of this I was awake until morning. They transfer me to another room but cant still sleep due the noise near my room. They transfer me again for the 3rd room, but I just really survived on my 3rd day because I get tired of telling them. On the third room, there is a fly, ants and other small insects. I dont know how they clean. So traumatic experience with the mouse,in my whole life, first time I experience rat crawling near my forehead and even the rat enjoy big bite on my bread that I place in my bag. Please trip.com,help this hotel improve if possible because I like to book hotels and flights thru trip.com.I was not able to take photos of the rat because of my nervousness that time.

I stayed here for three nights in a mixed dorm. The location is pretty good — close to public transport, some cafés, and a few bars. That said, the area gets noisy at night, so light sleepers should bring earplugs. The hostel itself is okay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were friendly enough, though they seemed a bit disorganized during busy hours. The common room is small but has a few couches and a TV. It’s a decent place to meet other travelers, but there’s no real social atmosphere unless someone starts something. The beds are basic — thin mattress, clean sheets, but the pillows are flat. Each bed has a reading light and one power outlet, which worked fine. Lockers are available, but bring your own padlock. Cleanliness is average: the dorm was swept daily, but the bathroom floors stayed wet, and the shower drain was slow. Breakfast is simple (bread, jam, instant coffee). Free Wi-Fi works in common areas but not great in the dorms.
