"Great location (about 20min walk from the old quarter), clean and relatively new studio. There is filtered water available, and the staff was friendly and responsive. The bed was comfortable and the place clean. Hot water was working well and there is AC and washing machine. The internet is a bit slow and although there is a stove, there are no kitchen equipment or tools to cook. Only a kettle and 2 glasses. Plenty of restaurants and markets nearby and in a local part, which is nice."

"I stayed here for 2 nights and everything went great. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, no problems with the soundproofing. There are a fan, a conditioner and one window is opening. The only thing is that the steamer doesn’t work and the shower head is leaking. The support is good - I asked for a late check out because of illness and they permitted to stay for an hour longer (after that the new guests were coming). The location is great- currency exchange in the cafe next door, the lake is in a minute walk."

"Not very happy with my stay. Firstly I’m a solo female traveller and was allocated a room on the same floor as the lobby. Upon checkin I realised the double lock in the room is not functioning so I voiced out. Staff told me not to worry as nobody can enter from outside without the key. I mentioned I’m a female traveler i don’t feel safe & that my room is on the same floor as lobby. He told me their technician is busy right now and will help fix the lock later. Before I went out of the hotel I have informed the lobby staff that I’m going out and to remember to fix the lock staff said ok. However when I am back in the room at night I realised it’s still not fixed! Another staff this time reassured me that everything is alright and that nobody can enter from outside and even showed me. I insisted that I still want it fixed and he said next morning will send someone to fix it for me. It was late so I agreed, I slept with a chair against the door. When I was half asleep at about 11pm I suddenly heard a loud knock on my door. Thinking it’s the hotel staff want to fix my lock? So I opened the door and to my dismay there was 2 officer in the green uniform together with hotel staff. I was shocked and scared as I wasn’t expecting police officer! What happened? The police asked when did I check in and also asked for my passport and took picture of it. When I asked if everything is alright, is the hotel safe as I still have 2 more nights here they just say all is good. Rest assured I did not sleep well that night!!! Next morning I insist I would like to change room as I really do not feel safe and they said they will “upgrade” me to a higher floor. Upon getting my new room I realised it’s the exact same room type and size as what I got on 1st floor only difference is the painting on the headboar! They should have given me a higher floor room in the first place. There was some flying insects in the room other that that nothing to shout about. Room was basic and clean enough, bed was comfortable. Toilet need some upgrade. I will not be coming back to this hotel again! Would not recommend. Location is only good if you like to stay at Westlake area else don’t bother."

"It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the airport, so the location was perfect! There were also lots of restaurants near the hotel, many opening as early as 5 AM. On my last day, I enjoyed some banh mi, pho, and fried spring rolls before heading back home, haha. The hotel itself was clean, and unlike other hotels I've stayed at, this one actually had heating, so I slept very comfortably. I've included a photo of the entrance for reference!"

"Ideally located near Noi Bai International Airport, though a bit far from the city center. This hotel is a perfect choice for a layover or a one-night stay. The rooms are clean and all basic necessities are provided. We slept very well and felt completely recharged before heading back to the airport to catch our sleeper bus to Sapa. A great, hassle-free experience and a value for money."

"For a solo traveler, a room's atmosphere is very crucial to maintain a positive attitude, and experience. This room is tastefully decorated, with simple and creative wall decor pieces and the essential furnishings. There are travel guidebooks in French on the bedside table for reading, fabric deco with tropical leaves next to the clothing rack, and woven leather and wicker plates on the bed wall, and filtered colorful framed photos on the wall next to the bathroom, giving the room a homely eclectic bohemian vibe, in addition. Overall, a pleasant and meaningful stay for a traveler in this room, specifically, and also in this homestay in general."

"Good hotel. Great stay. Good location. Very accommodating front desk. Spacious hotel room. Enjoyed our stay. Not baby stroller/ wheel chair friendly. Needs to take about 1 sets of about 15 stair steps to lobby and 2 sets of 4-5 stair steps to go to elevator. Narrow elevator and walk path."

"The rooms were brand new and clean. The staff were helpful and always present. Would recommend and book again in the future 👍"

"Pros: The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel's location is quite good. The rice noodle shop across the street is delicious, and there's a small supermarket about a 5-minute walk away. Most attractions are about a 10-15 minute walk, or a 5-10 minute motorbike ride. Cons: The room had a musty smell, or perhaps a renovation smell. The soundproofing wasn't great either, and the room size was on the smaller side. Breakfast was practically non-existent. I booked a room with breakfast included, which was supposed to be served from 7-10 AM. However, by 8:40 AM, there was absolutely nothing left – no milk, bread, or fruit. When I asked the staff, they simply said it was gone and wouldn't be replenished. I was shocked! During my three-day stay, there was no hot water for the last two days! It remained unavailable until checkout. That's truly outrageous. I contacted Trip.com about the breakfast and hot water issues, and they helped resolve them, so I really have to commend Trip.com for that. (The breakfast in the picture was taken after Trip.com intervened; I didn't take a photo when the food ran out earlier, so don't be misled by the picture.) The hotel used to be called 'Century Classic Hotel' and later changed its name to 'Beijing XX Hotel'. Changing to a Chinese name probably aimed to attract Chinese travelers, but unfortunately, the facilities don't meet the standards. I recommend exercising caution when choosing this hotel."

"Traveling with two families during Chinese New Year, we booked three rooms. I was initially worried because of the many negative reviews and even considered changing hotels, but found very few alternatives that met our requirements. Before our trip, I connected with Selina on WhatsApp, and she truly helped us a lot. Firstly, as everyone knows, Vietnam also celebrates Chinese New Year, and many restaurants are closed. Selina proactively helped us book a New Year's Eve dinner for 9 people at Met Restaurant. We wanted to go to Cat Ba Island, but by the time we got to the ticket office, it was closed. Again, Selina contacted Daiichi for us and helped us secure round-trip tickets. The hotel is located near Hoan Kiem Lake, and all surrounding attractions are within walking distance. Since it was impossible to get a taxi during Chinese New Year, we walked everywhere. Plus, it's very close to the Daiichi ticket office, just a 3-5 minute walk. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and you could also order pho, fried eggs, omelets, and more fresh."
