Located in Hanoi, An Homestay Lakeview Apartment is a great base to explore the city from.
Consigliato a chi ama i soggiorni semplici, silenziosi e sinceri."

Great
Ssara_du0718Arrived late on the first day and no one was there to open the door. You have to call in advance if you're arriving after midnight.
I called for ages, and the person on the other end didn't speak much English. Finally, an old man came, and he spoke even less English. We had to gesticulate a lot to communicate.
On the second day, they tried to charge an extra 400,000 VND for additional children. I checked the Ctrip details page, and there was absolutely no mention of any extra charges. 400,000 VND extra per night? Why would I go through all this trouble to book such a remote place then?
Facilities: The bathroom didn't have a shower area, just a bathtub 🛁, which was very awkward. The pillows on the bed had bloodstains. I chose this place after reading reviews that said it was very clean, but the bedding was not clean at all. If you're particular about cleanliness, do not choose this place.
Service: The old man had no manners whatsoever. I was in my pajamas and asked him to wait, but he just chased me inside to demand the 400,000 VND. I was absolutely flabbergasted!

Great
RRay Mak Hon KitFor our final day in Hanoi, we decided to stay at Mia Noi Bai Airport Hotel because of its close proximity to Noi Bai International Airport. Even though our flight was scheduled for early afternoon, traffic in Hanoi can be quite unpredictable. I’ve always believed in the principle of “better safe than sorry,” so staying near the airport felt like the right decision.
When we arrived quite late at night, the staff member on duty immediately rushed out to help us with our luggage. He was the only one working the night shift, yet he still made the effort to assist us warmly. We really appreciated that thoughtful gesture.
The room itself is relatively small but very clean and well organized. Interestingly, the bathroom takes up almost a quarter of the room — quite spacious compared to the sleeping area. I jokingly told my girlfriend that the bathroom alone could probably fit a family of four!
One small improvement the hotel could consider is adding a wall socket near the TV area. The only accessible socket was located low near the trash can, which meant I had to unplug the TV and connect my travel adapter to the extension cable meant for it. It worked, but it would definitely be more convenient with an outlet closer to the desk or TV.
The bed was solid and comfortable, and I especially liked the bedding setup. The blanket had an additional sheet layer, which not only makes it more hygienic but also easier to clean and maintain.
Ventilation in the bathroom could be improved slightly, but overall it was still perfectly functional.
One highlight of our stay was breakfast. Instead of a buffet, the hotel offers a simple made-to-order style breakfast, which I believe is outsourced to a nearby caterer. Personally, I think this is a smart approach — it helps reduce food waste compared to buffet setups, especially when the hotel is not fully occupied. The breakfast was simple, tasty, and satisfying.
Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The attentive staff, clean rooms, and convenient location near the airport make this a great option for travelers catching an early flight.
We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Hanoi. ✈️
GGuest UserThe room was spotless and the warm lighting made the vibe so cozy. Air conditioning was cold and wifi was super fast for streaming. Loved having a hairdryer. Great location near cool cafes. An amazing stay!
RRio LdgExcellent Customer Service.!Very good hotel near the airport Had everything you need even if it is away from the city center. We even had a wondertul time relaxin by the pool with airport view.good food&drinks.Peaceful neighborhood,we had a comfortable, well rested stay.Would highly recommend
RRalfNeeded a good night of test without noise from streets.
This was possible on the 7th floor according to the employee. The room was only five meters away from the road and I think the occupancy was about 25% Maximum. And this is royal measured. The window in the bathroom didn't even close.
I asked for another room away from the road and with windows that can close. I was offered another room. Again a window that was broken, but I fixed it in a way it's closed now. Lifted up the locking system at the side of the window, but it fell down, so now the window doesn't open anymore. Small window. There's also a big window. Because of having big windows these rooms are being considered to be executive rooms. Never reared about window size influencing the level of hierarchy.
But at the other side of the window there's a wall and it's a very creepy hole you stare in. I didn't really feel executive because of that. But still I got the one night of rest I needed to normally open my eyes again. It's creepy when you're so tired that your eyes just can't open anymore. Big fat eyes the next day.
Suddenly the younger girl behind the reception approach me with an extreme humble tone of voice telling me that it's actually an executive room. I literally asked myself if they had the gutted attitude to sell me an upgrade.
Never mind, relocation is coming anyways. Hanoi is a very dusty city. I mean extremely dusty. So dusty that the damage and harm it causes to visit this place really doesn't make yhe visit feels really worthy.
Also the communism is absolutely what didn't suit me personally at all. I am socially more developed.
In general I had the impression that they employees where friendly, but it's their job. Not their job to be aggressive as I experienced once when I just asked the question what sports Vietnamese people.like the most.
But this was in check out day. And the sinistry in the laugh of the male receptionist towards the taxi driver after they pushed me into.paying more for what I ordered online completely woke me up. But it's also weird yo say that the new owner is less kayak and in the meantime trying to sell me.more nights and saying I should return.
I completely don't understand this way of handling.
Asking 30% extra for a early check in. I saw yes when booked one or two nights, but when one booked a week then I would give it for free. In my case I understand that I needed to pay more for that 3 hour earlier checking in. But my explanation was clear. I need rest and lay down in normality, instead of walking on the streets wearing me out even more. The option offered didn't have anything to do with customer focus. More customer abuse in the most possible hardcore form. And this was the second accommodation in Hanoi where this abuse happened. I only had two accommodation totally indeed. Yes that's correct fellow traveller. Horror travel horror.
Now comes the materialistic reviewing:
Beds brand new and 100% awesome and healthy.
Spotless clean and even when you refuse room cleaning it still happens. Very need to do that. Amen to the cleaner lady.
Welcome Hall is pleasant.
Shower is nice.
It's very noisy in the front of the building, but I've only seen one room and I know that women follow the extinguishers agenda from Europe and I experienced this extremely in Vietnam. It even makes me feel.Viet Numb.
But that's a good sign. 7 days left and at least I've experienced a bit what the U.S. army experienced back then.
Viet Numb for me is more like a Tour of Duty.
I see a red door and I want to paint it black.
Communists not my people.
GGuest UserReception were very friendly and helped to book my taxis (cheaper than getting a Grab taxi). The room itself was very clean and housekeeping were attentive and cleared out bins etc everyday.
The location is also very good - near old town area and great to visit by going around the lake.
GGuest UserI really liked the location of this place in how it is near a lot of food, fruit, and vegetable stands. I also liked how it is near a lot of mini stores where I can go pick up things that I need. Owner is very nice and loans me things that I needed. She is very respectful to me calling me sir. Hotel maid was very friendly to be around. I like how there was a portable convection stove for me to cook things with. I like how there were silverware, chopsticks, and dishes that I can use to eat my food with. Very good deal to use the washer where it only costs 20,000 dong for the first time and free for additional uses. I liked how it was near that big Winmart grocery store.
Hotel room was very clean. I liked how it had this small space where I can hang my clothes up to dry which was perfect because it was directly underneath the air conditioning unit of the room upstairs where it gives off the heat which dries it faster. Hotel always has a fresh clean set of towels available whenever I need it. Hotel always has toilet paper available whenever I need it.
The only thing that I didn't like was that now and then, there are spiders, where I had to kill 2 of them. I also had to deal with a big spider on my last day. I am somebody that has a fear of spiders.
I might comeback to this hotel in August, September, or beginning of next year when I comeback towards Hanoi in Vietnam and the situation fits for me.
AAnonymous UserI’ve chosen this place because it was close to the airport. The first thing is I assumed that because it’s close it’ll be really easy to get there after arrival, but actually taxi drivers don’t want to go there because for them is better to get more money from the trip to the city center then driving you for five min to this hotel. Then after finally arriving the staff that will meet you won’t have any hint of a smile on their face and will treat you like you’ve pissed them off only with your disturbance of their peace, the morning shift by the way was exactly the same. The room itself was ok, just as I assumed by the pictures but with the closer look you can see that lots of breakage and damaged stuff in the room
HHuy90Stayed here for a couple of nights and honestly didn’t expect much at first, but it turned out pretty nice.
The room is not big, but it’s designed in a way that makes it feel cozy instead of cramped. You can tell they actually put some thought into the concept, it’s not just decoration.
Cleanliness was good, especially the bed and bathroom. That’s usually the first thing I notice when I walk into a room, and this one felt fresh enough.
Hot water worked well, AC cooled down the room quickly, no issues there.
A couple of small things though, the walls are a bit thin so you can hear some noise outside, and if you have a lot of luggage it might feel tight.
But overall, for the price, it’s definitely worth it. I’d probably stay here again if I’m back in Hanoi.

Good
GGuest UserHotel is tucked away but in a good location to visit most of Hanoi. Rooms are nice and clean and had air con fridge and freezer and always plenty of hot water. Can't go wrong at these prices. Staff were good and always helped with information. Over all it's a good hotel. I will be going back before I leave for the airport.
