Hanoi Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"The location of the hotel is the best. Its super close to the old quarter so you can easily find good food. The problem is in terms of cleanliness. The curtains are dirty and the ac has a very dark filter probably due to dust. I came in early so I understand why I didnt get to check in early but some Chinese tourists came in after me and they checked in immediately. I left my luggage and went around the city. I came back around 3 pm and the front desk helped me with my baggage. I thought that was really nice of them to do. The bed was comfortable. It could get loud in the morning because its in a busy area but if you will go out anyway, thats fine. Overall, the hotel fee is cheap so you get what you pay for but the location is good and convenient for travelers. Staff members are also nice."

"Pros: The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel's location is quite good. The rice noodle shop across the street is delicious, and there's a small supermarket about a 5-minute walk away. Most attractions are about a 10-15 minute walk, or a 5-10 minute motorbike ride. Cons: The room had a musty smell, or perhaps a renovation smell. The soundproofing wasn't great either, and the room size was on the smaller side. Breakfast was practically non-existent. I booked a room with breakfast included, which was supposed to be served from 7-10 AM. However, by 8:40 AM, there was absolutely nothing left – no milk, bread, or fruit. When I asked the staff, they simply said it was gone and wouldn't be replenished. I was shocked! During my three-day stay, there was no hot water for the last two days! It remained unavailable until checkout. That's truly outrageous. I contacted Trip.com about the breakfast and hot water issues, and they helped resolve them, so I really have to commend Trip.com for that. (The breakfast in the picture was taken after Trip.com intervened; I didn't take a photo when the food ran out earlier, so don't be misled by the picture.) The hotel used to be called 'Century Classic Hotel' and later changed its name to 'Beijing XX Hotel'. Changing to a Chinese name probably aimed to attract Chinese travelers, but unfortunately, the facilities don't meet the standards. I recommend exercising caution when choosing this hotel."

"The hotel was nice, the staff very helpful and polite. What was unexpected for me is that there was nothing in the bathroom around the shower, like a curtain or something, so the water splashed everywhere and was then taking a lot of time to dry. I’ve seen it in bathrooms in India, but didn’t know Vietnam would be the same. However, since it was just for one night, it wasn’t a big deal. The room itself was clean and spacious. One window didn’t close on the latch though. I Also, I had a problem with exchanging my last 50$ cash in the airport, cause they don’t except old kind of currency, which was a surprise, cause I didn’t encounter any problem with that before in my primal destination in Japan, but the hotel hand the nearby restaurant accepted card, so in the end it wasn’t much of an issue either. The hotel doesn’t provide with one-time slippers, but there are rubber sandal-type slippers for the bathroom and the room. I was ok with that, but I know it is an issue for people who don’t enjoy wearing things somebody else have worn before. Also, there was a dirty spoon and the walls in the bathroom looked like they needed some mold-proofing, since it is a very damp environment."

"I recently stayed at Le Grand Central Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely perfect — it’s right in the center, making it so easy to explore the main attractions of Hanoi, yet it still feels like a comfortable retreat. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight, however, was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my time there, always ready with a smile and great local advice."

"The hotel location is very well. It’s near Hoan Kiem lake and Hanoi old quater. The walking distance is 5-10 mins. The room is very clean and staffs are very friendly. They can speak English and Chinese. It’s very convenient for the foreigners. I highly recommend this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again next time, thank you 🙏"
