MMishel91Nice clean beautiful hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Anusha is the best and her daily cleaning service was the best. Location is bit far from the main city. Has hot water but is different from the nornal shower head which is cold water and the hot shower head is ONLY hot water so you have to try run both at the same time to make it warm but its not worth it. So just quick cold shower and out.

GGuest UserI cannot love this hotel more! Sweet and personal service, best demonstrating South Asian hospitality! The room was spacious, clean and well maintained! The crew was very professional and helped me with transportation and communication! They were so happy seeing me back every night, which made me feel so welcomed! The catering there is really good and I recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast - I cannot find rotti tastier than there’s!
I’ve been to so many hotels, and none has offered me such good hospitality before - the professionalism + the human touch! I really love them!

RRang_cWonderful place, Best location.This hotel is located in the heart of the walking street, convenient for walking around. You can walk to the beach with clean white sand and very clear water. This beach is free of garbage.
The bed is of very good quality. The bathroom is comfortable and luxurious beyond the price paid.
Breakfast it ok.Good staff and service.

GGuest UserThe house is very new, the rooms are large, and there is a big balcony. We arrived at Dazzling Villa very late. The boss and his family helped carry our luggage upstairs. They lived on the third floor. The floor is very high. The family was very warm and polite. The next morning They also helped carry our luggage and took friendly photos with us. They were very happy. We recommend staying here. Maybe the place is too big and some places are dusty. The boss lady needs to improve it.

QQiaoannuoJJIf you are alone, it is still a bit scary to drive a tuk-tuk at night because the mountain road behind is a dirt road with no street lights.
The air in the mountains is very good and quiet. There is no air conditioning in the room, but there is a fan, but you can't open the door or windows because there are mountains outside, mosquitoes will come in, and you can also see squirrels. Only if you don't open the window without a fan, there will be no ventilation and it will be a bit stuffy.
The scenery is pretty good.
I stayed for three days and was only given a bottle of mineral water. I had to buy more if I wanted.
After three days, I was only given one piece of soap. After asking for it for a long time, the store insisted that one piece of soap was enough. Later, when they found out that I was doing laundry, they gave me an extra piece of soap.
I can't wash my hair because the hot water is too small. Oh, what a sin.
If you are alone, it is recommended not to go out at night, because you have to walk on mountain roads, and there are occasionally dogs on the mountain roads. Better find a companion.

The standout feature of The Coffee Bungalow is undoubtedly its staff, particularly Adrian, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Everyone we encountered was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel well cared for. The food was another highlight—delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A particularly nice touch was when they packed us a complimentary to-go lunch for our train journey out of Kandy, which was a pleasant and unexpected gesture.
The Bad
The lack of air conditioning was a notable downside, especially given Kandy’s humidity. While the property has a charming colonial feel, the absence of a solid door between the bedroom and bathroom was an odd design choice. Although the toilet and shower do have louvered doors, privacy is somewhat compromised. Another issue was the challenging entry system—we found ourselves locked out one night, which was frustrating and inconvenient.
The Ugly
Unfortunately, the biggest drawback was the ant problem. While some level of bugs is to be expected in a tropical setting, the sheer number of ants, particularly in the bathroom but also in the bedroom, was hard to ignore. It definitely impacted our overall comfort.
Overall, The Coffee Bungalow has a lot of charm and some truly wonderful hospitality, but there are a few quirks and inconveniences that might not suit every traveler. If you’re prepared for a bit of rustic charm and can handle the lack of AC and privacy, the warm service and great food may make up for the downsides.

GGuest Userhad pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of service and hospitality we received. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable.
The team was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation and suggesting places to visit. They recommended we attend the Tooth Relic Procession and suggested us to visit a waterfall, which turned out to be the most breathtaking waterfall I've ever seen. Their local knowledge truly enhanced our experience.
When our cab dropped us off in the mid , the hotel staff immediately came to pick us up in tuk-tuk.
The staff was consistently polite and accommodating, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place where the staff genuinely cares about making your stay special. Thank you for the experience!

蒙蒙奇奇The owner’s own house was changed, Sri Lanka’s local tyrant, two Land Rover. At the top of the mountain, the top floor bar is really view360. The only problem is that the curtains of the roller blinds are almost shaded. Chef is super good! ! ! Chef is super good! ! ! To be honest, the room is just like that. There is not much room for it. Kandy has a good choice for one to two nights. The chef is super, Md can't help but mention it! The pool is good, but it is too cold to get into the water.
