The hotel itself and its facilities are fantastic. The rooms are nice and the food is absolutely superb. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really poor, which made this stay absolutely unpleasant. We were given dirty table cloths (and they didn’t want to replace it after asking for it), our table was given to someone else while we were at the buffet, we had to order drinks several times until finally served, we were given the bill to sign while still eating the main dish (not even dessert) and actually wanted to order more drinks, after being seated, we had to wait min 10 min to place orders for drinks or get silverware etc. From a 5* hotel we definitely expected something better. This is the only hotel during our trip, where we experienced bad service. which is a pity, as otherwise the hotel is really nice. We would not book it again.

W15 Hanthana Estate is literally a dream property! Perched on the mountains overlooking Kandy, the property occupies an old heritage bungalow that was entirely restored and transformed into a chic boutique hotel of 10 rooms. The atmosphere is incredibly special and the views are literally magical. The place is breathtaking! Views, grounds, architecture, details, food: all incredible. Our room was very spacious with an open bathrooms, 4 poster bed and private patio, well appointed details and THE MOST COMFORTABLE bed you can dream of. The mattress was the most comfortable we encountered during our stay in Sri Lanka and the 800TC sheets were so memorable that we tried to buy a set in Colombo! Sherif and his team were incredibly attentive and patient with us. Sherif is wonderful host and went out of his way to accommodate every one of our needs, making us feel incredibly welcome. He was exceptionally professional and kind, offered us a wonderful stay. We could not thank him enough! The food was impressive and the highest quality. Would go back in heartbeat!

The room was clean and comfortable. Sitting in the lobby and around the swimming pool is very comfortable, you can be in a daze all day long! The surrounding environment is very good. There is a lake next to the hotel and a small hill opposite. Wake up in the morning and listen to the birds singing, by the way, there are many crows here😄

We were also pleased to meet the General Manager, Mr. Dilip Kumar, who personally reached out to us and made our stay even more memorable. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast offered a great selection of delicious items. The Kandy Gallery Suite we stayed in was spacious and luxurious, featuring a large jacuzzi that added an extra touch of relaxation. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The swimming pool also offered a beautiful view, overlooking the serene Mahaweli River. Overall, Jetwing Kandy Gallery is a wonderful retreat with excellent service and a picturesque setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature in Kandy.

The landlord is an interesting Guangxi guy who can cook delicious dishes. The morning wake-up service was performed by his cat, Lion, super cute. One purpose of traveling with children is to stay in different forms and different grades, meet more people, know how to deal with some things. Here you can meet many backpackers, listen to them chat about interesting things that happened along the way, and the plan after that, the child said, this is very different from staying in a hotel.

This hotel is not in Kandy. It takes about an hour and a half to drive from downtown Kandy, and it is all rugged and narrow mountain roads. It seems that our drivers are accustomed to driving this kind of road, but we think that the next mountain is very troublesome, so no It is recommended that you need to go out frequently to choose this one. In addition to the location is a bit far away, the other aspects are really good to say nothing, watching the sunrise in bed early in the morning, watching the rolling mountains while swimming, and the sky and stars at night, children like it! The restaurant here is not bad, there is even a small bar to order wine, but the price is very similar to the domestic, not as cheap as the food and beverage prices in Sri Lanka. In addition, mosquitoes in the tent are unavoidable. Be sure to put down the gauze when you sleep, and spray some mosquito repellent liquid.

Loved the experience here. Would definitely recommend this hotel to tourists who are visiting Kandy for the first time. We were given varieties of food for both breakfast and dinner. Also personally i got to enjoy my breakfast with a beautiful river view. The hospitality was wonderful as well. Thank you Oak ray for the wonderful stay.

From the moment we arrived at this hotel, the service was truly excellent. We arrived early, but were still able to check in. We were greeted with cold refreshing coconut drinks and snacks, and the most helpful, lovely staff. Our room was beautiful, very stylish, with a small balcony, lovely bathroom (great toiletries!) and extremely comfortable bed. Perfect! The breakfasts were delicious, such a varied choice of food, with good coffee! We are vegan but there was plenty for us to eat. Day 2 we had freshly prepared hoppers filled with lentil dahl - so yummy! Location is ideal, very close to the lake and not far from the train station. We bumped into a gentleman who works at the hotel when we were out exploring (he was off-duty at the time but recognized us from when we checked in) and he was SUPER helpful, walking with us for a while, pointing out some interesting places to go, and he even helped us buy tickets for a traditional dance show. We were only in Kandy for 2 nights, but really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Highly recommend.

The design of the hotel is very strong, the road is extremely difficult, and all the big attractions are abandoned for this hotel. This hotel is suitable for the deep tour of the hotel, and will not let you down! You must live once in your lifetime! Basically foreigners! Anyone will come across very kind greetings!
