"We had a really pleasant stay at Léman Old Quarter Hotel. What stood out the most was the excellent service from the receptionist. The team was very thoughtful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. As we had an early morning flight, the receptionist proactively suggested arranging an airport pick-up and also helped arrange a takeaway breakfast for us. These small touches made a big difference and showed how much they genuinely cared about their guests. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade at no additional charge. The upgraded room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and housekeeping did a good job throughout our stay. Overall, we were very happy with our experience. The location was convenient, the room was clean, and most importantly, the customer service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Old Quarter!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at Heritage Ham Long. The hotel looked exactly as advertised. A small charming boutique hotel, with very nice service. The location is about 25 mins of walking to the Old Quarter area. On rainy days, instead of walking, we could easily book Grab car or Green taxi. The surrounding is safe and convenient, with lots of vegan restaurants nearby (which is a plus point for me), and there is a nearby bus stop. From the beginning, I felt very welcomed by everyone at the front office including Mr. Huy, Mr. Kyan Nam (concierge), Ms. Olivia, Ms. Chi, Mr. Quan Thuy, Mr. Son (concierge), Ms. Lisa (reservation) and basically every staff took care of us very well throughout our stay (including those who are on the night shift, very kind and attentive). Lobby is clean and smelled of fresh flower. The room itself was nice, clean and spacious enough for me and a friend. The only teeny tiny thing mentioned by my friend is that the minibar was not cold compared to the other room (we realized after we checked in the second time), and I’m not sure if the in-room sandals were new or even cleaned after the previous guests; they were not the regular one-time use slippers. Breakfast was nice, just limited vegan options, but still nice. I also truly appreciate the free 30’ sauna and shower at the Spa that was available even after we checked out and that we could store our luggages and use the storage room to pack as long as we needed. Nobody ever rushed us and gave us all the time we needed. Thank you being a nice home in Hanoi."

"A brilliant apartment in center Hanoi. The location is remarkably convenient, placing you minutes away from the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the historic Mausoleum, yet offering a quiet retreat. Cleanliness is a top priority here; rooms were immaculate and dust free. The host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, helping us explain local amenities and book airport taxis. I cannot recommend this spotless apartment enough for Hanoi travelers."

"The hotel owner put me in a different room than the one I booked, and it didn't meet my requirements. I was only informed about not getting my booked room less than 24 hours in advance, and the owner refused to cancel the booking on Trip.com, manipulating me through messages. With my mind preoccupied with my departure, flight, and saying goodbye to a friend, I fell for the manipulation. The owner did compensate me for the price difference and extra taxi costs. The room was very stuffy during the first hour of my stay, and instead of relaxing after my journey, I had to deal with stress and messages from the owner, which really spoiled my mood. Now, about the room itself. If you're looking for an inexpensive place for a long-term stay, it's suitable. It's clean, the bed is comfortable, and there's a kitchen, microwave, dishes, and a clothes rack. The air conditioning works perfectly and is well-positioned. There's a laundry room on the ground floor, and no insects. The only downside is the excellent soundproofing, or rather, the lack thereof – there's a large gap under the door."

"Overall: 3.8/5 stars | Cleanliness: 4/5 | Facilities: 3.5/5 | Staff: 5/5 A good place for a short stay. Location is convenient and in the middle of the bustling Old Quarter, yet you can’t hear any of the noise at the hotel. We kindly got upgraded to a bigger room meant for a family of 3. It’s enough for what it is but the facilities were quite old – stained water tap, slow draining sink, broken shower gel pump, nearly broken hangers, TV with no working channels. The bathroom rail came off on our final night too. Our window was a view of a painting on a wall, with two full length windows that opens fully which can be dangerous for those staying with little ones. This also meant we had zero sunlight for our room too. Midday during our stay one day, workers had entered to replace the bed frames. We were about to head out at the time and didn’t mind this, but we never received any prior notice, meaning they would’ve been given access anyway if we had been out beforehand. At least the chipped wooden bed frames are now replaced with safer and smoothly covered new ones. There was also lots of construction going on in the hotel the morning we left which we weren’t informed of either; I can imagine it must be disruptive for those who aren’t out. Gratefully, the staff at the reception are all super kind and helpful which made up for our stay. Personally I wouldn’t mind coming back, but only for a very short stay. Wishing the hotel all the best and hope it continues to improve its facilities."
