The worst hotel that I’ve ever seen.When I arrive there,the owner shouted to me .He said there is no booking with my name.He didn’t check properly and he doesn’t speak English.When I show my check in voucher,He responded me impolite.And the room is moldly,old and dirty.A/C was okay. He asked us to rent a bike from hotel .When we refused , he kept on reminding us the check out time.That’s so irritating,annoying .Greedy Vietnamese ! don’t trust the good reviews! There is no lift and you have to take a taxi or bus to get Hanoi old town.

The first room we had was correct, but the second was unacceptable, the entire room, the sheets and the pillow smelled of tobacco to such an extent that both my partner and I woke up several times during the night due to the strong smell.

I was assigned to the basement and went in, but the cleanliness was not good and the internet didn't work well in the room.
And when I opened the wooden door in the room, there was a large boiler room...
And who said it was clean... I wasn't confident about sleeping in a room with lizards roaming around, so I found another place to stay and came out at night.
I absolutely do not recommend this to anyone I know.

The room was on the second basement floor.
If you are looking for cleanliness or easy access to the city center, I think it is better not to stay here.
I stayed for 2 nights, and on the second night there was no hot water at all, so I only had to take a cold shower.
The people at the hostel don't speak English, so we communicate using the translation function on our smartphones.

I recently stayed at Phuong Trang Hotel, attracted by its very cheap price. However, I must say that my overall experience was not entirely satisfactory. One of the main issues I encountered was the cleanliness of the hotel. While I understand that the price was low, I still expected a certain level of cleanliness. Unfortunately, we found hair on the sheets, which prompted us to ask for a sheet change. Moreover, there were also hairs in the bathroom, which made me quite uncomfortable.
On a positive note, I found the lady and gentleman at the reception to be kind and friendly, providing good customer service.
One important thing I feel I should mention is the bridge close to the hotel. If you plan on walking to the other side of the city, be aware that this bridge is not designed for pedestrians and lacks proper facilities. It is practically impossible to walk to the main part of the city using this bridge.
