Wonderful hotel. Great location, very close to hoan kiem lake. The rooms are very modern and Clean.. The entire staff is extremely friendly. I love the kitchen staff. They always remember me since I stay here every year. This was the 3rd time I stayed there and will come back next year. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel experience is very poor. Low-quality paint is used. The hotel lobby and rooms smell of Tenna water, which is irritating and unpleasant. I have different symptoms such as throat and nose irritation. The hotel also ensured that there was no smell in the room. When I entered the room, either the lock was broken or the smell of Tenna water in the room was irritating. I immediately reported the situation to the hotel front desk and said that I needed to check out and change hotels. It has been processed for almost a week now. The hotel Fang used various reasons to evade the refund. One time he said he had no authority, another time he said he was not at work, and it was the weekend. He had no sense of responsibility. He suggested that everyone should not go to this unscrupulous hotel in the future. They continued to operate during the renovation period, did not pay attention to the health of the guests, and were irresponsible afterwards. It is recommended to block the business.

Location is superb. Very prime location as in right in the old quarter district.
However anything else is a meh. Stayed at 10F which is at the attic, is ok except be careful if you have big luggage as there's no lift directly to 10F. The bell boy will help you carry up anyway.
Slippers are a reused one, remember to bring your own slippers. Nobody picked up the room service number, guess they're too busy. Bed is clean -- a huge relief.
Originally booked for two nights, but moved out second day. They kind of tried to hardsell me into buying their new year gala dinner, which I didn't feel comfortable with.
But yeah, location is superb, but overall is kind of a meh.
