My second stay within a week and my experience are completely different:
1) front desk lady is kinda rude.
2) asking for parking fee which was included during my previous stay, exactly the same room type and conditions.
3) THE ROOM IS WAY TOO NOISY! I got the room at the end of the hall with facing the highway. The nonstop traffic and airplane overflying kept me awake for the entire night even I put the earplug in. I end up took the sleeping pill at 3am… unbelievable.

Shuttle does require you to make a call yourself. The boarding location is the same in ATL. Exit in the direction of Ground Transportation and walk toward Rental Car. There is a row of hotel bus stops before getting on the elevator.
Near the airport, parking is free. There is a row of rooms facing the highway and the noise is very loud. It will be much better if I change to another room.
Breakfast ends at nine o'clock. I overslept on the first day and didn't catch up, so I had to eat at Ihop next door.
At the same price, if you are transiting near the airport, the main consideration is the sound insulation effect. Generally speaking, it is better to make do without relying on the highway.

I was really tired from 13 hour flight when I got to ATL. Took a shuttle to the domestic terminal where hotel shuttles were. Driver took me to the right hotel (apparently there are multiple holiday inns near the airport).
My room was really nice, bed was soft and smelled fresh. Breakfast was really good too. Staff were really kind and friendly.
I'd recommend this hotel to my friends.
