Excellent stay at The Moorcock inn. We was made to feel welcome from the minute we walked inn. Ruth was amazing the while time made conversation and was just lovely. Room was wonderful and the food was delicious. We will be coming back.

The B&B is gorgeous. Really authentic country pub. Bed was so comfortable and barely any noise during the night as it's not in the centre of a town. Ruth and the rest of the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much for them and they were so accomodating to my dietary needs (Gluten Free due to Coeliac) and took the time to have a chat with us both as well. Made the 3 night stay really pleasant. The food for breakfast and evening meals were delicious and so filling. Highly recommend the fishcakes and the chicken with Wensleydale.

We have just had the nicest stay here. The food was lovely, the staff were helpful and welcoming and very pleasant. The room was beautiful, clean, with everything we could possibly need. We stayed 2 nights whilst we walked the three peaks and really didn’t want to leave. Will be staying again very soon, loved it

We stayed here a few years ago and whilst in the area like to call in for our favourite meal ‘Wensleydale chicken’. The landlady is lovely and very welcoming. The pub has a fascinating history. I love it here!
