"Glen and Liz are super hosts. We had a warm welcome. Comfortable bed with views of the hills. Excellent breakfast. We will be back to do the Herriot Way with our husbands and will stay at Herriots because Glen supports the Herriot way by transporting walkers to and from the trail each day so we can stay with him and don't have to have baggage transfer each day."

OYO The Board Inn

"Lovely room. Comfy bed & bedding. 2 loungr chairs in room was a bonus. A little concerned breakfast was to be found next door at Crockets 1638 which from the outside looked a bit run down but no need to worry the inside and cooked breakfast inc in price were excellent. Disappointed our bar closed at 8pm but next door The Crown was part of the same group too and that was open later. Free parking is availablr outside but you really have to be lucky to get a space. We parked in the museum car park £7 for 24hours...10 min walk."
