I booked here after reading online reviews, and after another advertised local B&B disappeared. We were warmly greeted and welcomed by Paul, the owner, and offered tea and homemade tea bread on arrival. Our room was beautiful, very comfortable bed and bed linens. Breakfasts were substantial yet elegantly delivered. Eggs and lemon curd from the premises were lovely touches. If you are looking for quiet country comfort, recharging away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place.

Had the best time at Bedrule Old Manse Luxury Glamping Pods. More than happy to review them as there are none so far. The two pods, Blackthorn and Hornbeam are located in a wee meadow behind the Old Manse B&B. The immediate neighbours are the 3 horses in the field, who gave us much amusement- you could set your watch by them at mealtimes! It certainly is luxury glamping inside- a fully fitted kitchen with dish washer and a wine fridge, with a bottle of fizz and some water left for you. Fresh eggs and homemade biscuits and jam make up the welcome pack, with tea and coffee too. Everything you could ever need in a kitchen is there. The oven and two induction hob plates. The bed is a big, comfy, king-size, with beautiful bedlinen. Great pillows too. Lovely hand wash and shower gel provided in the bathroom. The shower is certainly powerful too. My favourite bits were the built-in Bluetooth speaker system and the 'sitooterie' - a cracking large deck area, with table and chairs and a sofa, within the partly glazed section. We had two meals outside here and it was bliss, but weather was fantastic the 4 days we were there. What is also a nice feature is the two pods have different colour schemes, making each pod quite individual! To praise Stuart and Paul, we needed help getting the WiFi sorted out- Stuart was a great help and also, we had left something behind and they kindly sent it on to us by first class post and wouldn't take any money for the postage!

A wonderful B&B - fantastic setting, beautiful building and grounds, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and superb hosts! We would definitely recommend a stay here for rest, relaxation and recuperation. There is lots to do in the area and surrounding towns.

Amazing Stay @bedruleoldmanse. Lovely handmade Jam, home made custard creams, fresh laid eggs and drinks in the fridge. The custard creams are amazing. Let me tell you these boys can cook. That’s before I get to the pod. It’s fantastic . All kitchen facilities, comfy bed, and enough space for a holiday home. Outside there’s pheasants, chickens, horses and two friendly Labradors to say hello. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend. We’ve had a great experience with friendly hosts with impeccable attention to detail and a desire to create a great experience.

If you are after a genuine Country B&B experience then this is the place to stay. From our arrival Paul and Stuart warmly welcomed us into their home. Everything is thought out for your comfort. The bedrooms are high quality, warm and comfortable with beautiful ensuite bathrooms. Breakfast was outstanding with many homemade and local food being used - some even straight from the walled kitchen garden.

Recently spent two nights here on our way home from Aberdeenshire to North Yorkshire. The attention to detail is evident all round the house. Our bedroom was comfortable and the fresh milk for drinks was a bonus. The living room is comfortable for reading and the absence of a TV in there makes it a peaceful retreat. The breakfast was outstanding. Full cooked breakfast or porridge which was cooked just right and fruit compote to add if you liked, followed by toast and home made marmalade. Already looking forward to our next visit.

We were only booked for one night as visiting an event at Floors Castle, Paul and Stuart were fantastic hosts even before we arrived providing us with very helpful guidance. We had two rooms, interconnecting and found the decor pleasing, the beds and furniture of a very high standard and one of the cleanest B&B's. Lovely morning breakfast, with fresh local sourced ingredients and the little extra touches made for an excellent stay. Shame it was only the one night.

The hosts Paul and Stuart have a beautiful home in amazing grounds. We were made welcome and they excel themselves in making your stay special. Bed was huge and comfortable. Breakfast amazing. They serve local and home produce and the fruit and jams are great. The little touches made the stay special and we had the best cake I have had in years on arrival. Safe parking too. They welcome bikers too and even offered to let us put trikes in garage

My partner and I had a warm welcome and a nice pot of tea and tea bread in the guest lounge. The breakfast was first class with home made jams and compote. The Manse is in a beautiful location but close to Jedburgh and Hawick. We wish we could have stayed longer.
