Das Hotel ist eine hübsche Villa in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Das Frühstück ist ok aber nicht besser als Ibis-Standard. Das wirkliche Problem war, dass das Zimmer 35 sehr unangenehm nach Kanal oder Abfluss roch. Offenbar war man sich dessen bewusst, da die Fenster trotz kühler Temperaturen offen waren. Als ich am nächsten Morgen die Rezeption darauf aufmerksam machte, bekam ich ein eher gequältes Lächeln. Man wusste es also, ohne sich allerdings zu entschuldigen. Das kann man dem Gast nicht zumuten und das brauche ich nicht noch einmal.

Die Zimmer sind abgewohnt und erfüllen in keinster Weise die einer 3-Sterne Kategorie. Beim Öffnen des gebuchten Business Zimmers kam uns ein stark muffiger Geruch entgegen. Wir mussten erst Mal über 30 Minuten lüften. Nach Rücksprache bei der Rezeption wo man im Zimmer die Heizung einschalten kann wurde ich darauf hingewiesen dass man die Heizung nicht einschalten kann. Diese würde sich automatisch bei niedriger Temperatur einschalten. Bei einer Außentemperatur von ca. 10 Grad Celsius war der Heizkörper den ganzen Abend nicht eingeschaltet. Achtung: Bei Buchung nicht vergessen eine dicke Wolldecke mitzubringen. Der Hit war der Duschvorhang - entspricht ganz sicher nicht die Kategorie Drei eines Hotels in Heidelberg/Deutschland.

Vor allem am Samstag sehr freundliches Personal am Frühstücksbuffet. Hervorragendes Frühstück und Kaffeeangebot.
Rezeption besetzt und auch freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Auf Grund der Lage des Hotels, ist ein eigenes Fahrzeug notwendig. Die Parkmöglichkeiten eher eng, doch gut möglich. Zu Fuss ist Heidelberg in ca 20 Minuten via Schloss gut erreichbar und interessant.
Die Aussicht ab unserem grossen Zimmer war toll. Gute Matratzen, sauber. Sehr gutes und vielseitiges Frühstück. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Kleine kosmetische Reparaturen wären sinnvoll, schmälern den Gesamteindruck jedoch nicht. Alter und eindrücklicher Baumbestand im Garten und der weiteren Umgebung. Wir kommen wieder....

very nice setting above Heidelberg Town, easy walk to castle and old town restaurants etc. Just next to fascinating Carl Bosch Museum - well worth quick visit.

Nice location uphill of Heidelberg with fantastic view into the Neckar valley. Driving there by car is kind of adventure.

Lovely hotel. Room was spacious and well appointed. We had a double with extra seating area on the 4th floor with great view. AC was great with temps outside in the 80’s. Breakfast was delicious and the staff charming and attentive. Would live to stay there again.
