Although it was a room-only stay, we had no problems. We needed to accommodate an additional person at short notice, but the front desk was able to prepare a room for us, which was a great help. It took about 30 minutes because I'm not good at communicating, but they were very kind and helpful, and even took photos for us.
The room was clean and the environment was quiet, so we could relax. You can see Heidelberg Castle from the elevator hall, so you can see a beautiful night view at night.

Ursprünglich hatte ich einen Kingsize Bett gebucht und dementsprechend bezahlt. Beim einchecken beziehungsweise beim Eintreffen auf dem Zimmer habe ich festgestellt, dass es sich um ein zwei Matratzenbett handelt. Zurück zur Rezeption, der Mitarbeiter war extrem freundlich und hat mir gleich ein neues Zimmer gegeben.
Leider war auch dort lediglich ein Bett mit zwei Matratzen vorhanden.
Zum dritten Zimmer sind wir dann zusammen gegangen, auch dort lediglich zwei Matratzen.
Am Ende hat es dann doch noch funktioniert und als kleine Wiedergutmachung gab es einen großen Whisky an der Bar. Vielen Dank für den perfekten Service .
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, mitten in der Stadt, direkt an der wunderschönen Fußgängerzone und dem Weihnachtsmarkt.

Zentrale lage, gute tiefgarage, gutes frühstück, schade an diesem neueren hotel ist die pflege, denn unsere regendusche war bereits verkalkt und die handtuchhalter in der höhe ca. 1.80 montiert, was recht unpraktisch ist. Wenn man sich beteits um 12.00 an der reception meldet, wird einem ein „frühes einchecken“ für 30euro offeriert - na ja :-)

Fairly mixed feelings about our stay in the hotel. Upon arrival after a long journey I was surprised to learn that our 3 night stay and breakfast and parking must be paid in full (despite my credit card details being shared upon booking). That didn’t feel particularly welcoming. The hotel is in a good location for the old town. That said each nights sleep was heavily disrupted by the noise outside from traffic and people shouting etc. The breakfast is extremely average. Those looking for a hot breakfast will be disappointed to be faced with scrambled egg, boiled carrots (!), poultry sausages. No bacon, beans, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns etc. The bread rolls are cheap pre-baked. The fitness room is a tiny room not worth venturing to. Free weights up to 10kg! Room the size of an old fashioned airing cupboard. The staff at the hotel are friendly and nice. Heidelberg is beautiful. We had a lovely time. But I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. There are much nicer hotels in Heidelberg..!
