Stayed here for 2 nights. The location is excellent. Right next to the bridge and our room had a view of both the bridge from one window and the castle from another! Easily walkable to everything that a tourist may want to see. Our room included a loft with a single bed for our son, and he greatly enjoyed having his own little space. The room had plenty of storage space and was very clean. The decor was unique and felt like a cozy library, which we loved. Check-in and check-out were easy. Do note that you have to carry your luggage a bit from the street area. Breakfast was a buffet and all food was fresh with a good selection. We ate dinner at the restaurant, which was fine and decor was traditional German, but the atmosphere left a bit to be desired. If you're looking for a fun coffee/pastry spot (including excellent alcoholic coffee drinks), there is a wonderful spot across the street, full of locals with excellent staff - Casa del Caffe. A close spot for dinner with lots of locals and helpful staff is Vetter's. To summarize - greatly enjoyed our stay, would absolutely come back on our next trip to Heidelberg!
