The hotel room facilities are relatively old. The room I checked in on the first day had an old smell. The bed in the room was very small and the bathroom looked poor. Fortunately, the hotel staff changed the room

A short walk from Käpylä station to the hotel. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. Rooms were clean. Pretty comfy beds. Friendly staff. Check out time nice at 12 so no need to rush to get up/out.
Breakfast not great quality (hot foods), but had lots of variety.
Not great for big heavy suitcases, lots of steps and doorways where need to lift the suitcase. So not super accessible.
In summer take earplugs, there is some kind of a machine at the courtyard that is super noisy in the night, but in summer you need to keep the windows open because it's too hot. With earplugs you can sleep well. Otherwise the hotel is quiet.

Nyt oli vähän huono hetki tulla tähän hotelliin. Ulkona oli kuuma, joten myös huoneissa oli kuuma. Äänieristys myös oli aika kehno. Illalla pääsi nukkumaan vasta klo 24 jälkeen, kun kovaääninen puhe hiljeni. Huone oli ihan hyvä, mutta vuode oli liian pehmeä ja tyynyt aika loppuunkuluneet. Aamupalalla tarjottiin molempina aamuina homeisia marjoja?! Ja vaikka Suomessa ollaan, niin ruisleipää ei ollut tarjolla. Eikä mitään, pientäkään, makeaa palaa. Hinta-laatu -suhde ei siis ollut aivan kohdallaan.

Restaurant: Indian food good but the CUBE steak was awful. Avoid it. Dry as sandpaper even if I i wanted medium. No sauce neither...

I had a room close to what sounded like the heating system, as I could hear the burner starting up / running, I guess that I just drew the short straw. But it was only a low level soun so didn't wake me up. The entrance hall and stairwell looked in need of repainting and the mat at the entrance looked very worn. But actually it was quite comfortable and the breakfast offering was quite varied. So once you got past the first impressions it was quite comfortable.
It is also only a short walk from a station on the line from the airport to the city centre .
