I can’t believe the terrible experience I had at August Hotel! Every room I stayed in had flies! I checked in today and initially chose a standard room. Upon entering, there was a fly buzzing around and even landing on the bed. I immediately called the front desk, and a man who claimed to be the manager came up. He first said he would send someone to deal with the fly, but flies carry bacteria wherever they land! I refused his offer, and he then said I had to wait until 3 PM to change rooms. By 2 PM, I decided to upgrade to the Experience room for an additional charge, hoping for a better environment. However, when I entered the new room, there was still a fly! I called the front desk again, and a lady came up much later. She saw the fly but her solution was simply to open the window, showing no concern about potentially letting in more flies! Up to this point, I had not received a single apology or compensation. The lady even asked me where I was from. When I said the United States, she asked if there were no flies in America. My goodness! Of course, hotel rooms don’t have flies! This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!
