Beautiful resort. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Not much to do other than the pool area but a great place to relax and unplug. Would dedicatedly definitely recommend. Also only about 20 minutes or so from airport so it's a great option when wanting to stay near San José 😀

The Finca is a good travel stop and boasts an organic coffee farm and an emphasis on eco-tourism. It’s a lovely property and the rooms well appointed but please note - they do not have A/C. The food in the restaurant was quite good and an a la carte breakfast with a first course of fresh fruit is included with reservations. The only caveat is that dinner prices are expensive and higher than can be justified considering the cost of products and labor in Costa Rica. The coffee tour was quite interesting and the guide a fount of knowledge. Just be aware that in general there is a good climb up through the coffee plantings to the coffee roasting etc building.

We stayed in a villa for 3 nights and it was absolutely gorgeous, 3 balconies, lovely view and felt very secluded. The bed were super comfy and jacuzzi baths. The pool its big enough to swim in but also has thoughtful landscaping, a waterfall and a hot tub. The waiting staff were always very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and they were accommodating to swaps for my son. Would highly recommend.

Just about the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. The main house is just gorgeous, the pool is glorious and the food is excellent. Can't rate this hotel high enough. It really needs to be seen to be believed.

This hotel is ideally located less than 30 minutes from the airport to start your stay in Costa Rica or to go from the southwest (Manuel Antonio - Osa Peninsula - Uvita) to the north (La Fortuna and Monteverde) as has been our case. There were 5 of us and we were able to have two villas connected to each other - with a balcony wide enough to benefit from the last ray of sunshine and enjoy a glass of Chilean white wine together while looking at the lush vegetation. Dinner was a bit disappointing - the price of the main courses and especially the wine being too high for our taste. The positive point: the Visit to the plantation at 8:30 the next morning, very rich both in terms of vegetation but especially in explanations on the harvest and manufacturing of coffee - whose distant origins in Ethiopia make it one of the raw materials of Costa Rica (3rd largest exporter in the world)

Beautiful place, close to the airport and easy access. Decor is beautiful and restaurant has beautiful views. Coffee tour was great. The pool is beautiful but unfortunately it is so cold, wish it was warmer.

An epic start to our trip and a brilliant intro to the wilds of Costa Rica. The on-site bird watching tour was a big highlight and the kids even enjoyed thier first coffee cupping! The food, room and chess board kept us all entertained. Mega service to boot!

I had read about Finca Rosa Blanca so requested Trailfinders who organised our itinerary that we stay here for the last 2 nights of our 16 night tour of C.R. for some relaxation and luxury. We were collected at the SANSA terminal at SJO after flying in from Oso Peninsular, after a 30 minute journey arrived at Finca Rosa Blanca. On arrival the receptionist seemed a little overwhelmed as dealing with another guest who had arrived without a booking and then initially couldn't find our booking. However things were sorted after a while and after this everything was perfect. We were taken to the standard room in the main house we had booked called Valle. The main house has a feeling of Gaudi about it with few straight walls and beautiful murals on the walls. We had a huge bathroom with jacuzzi and shower. A sitting area with fridge and tea/coffee making. The bedroom had a large patio style balcony with views over the Central Valley to the mountains in the distance. We ate both breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant. The food was excellent and the wines ( unlike other hotels we stayed at ) reasonably priced. We took the coffee tour to the coffee farm which is part of the Finca. This was very informative and included coffee tasting; we learned so much about the androgenic farming process and the correct to prepare coffee. The grounds of the Finca were beautiful but what topped it off was the amazing swimming pool with views over the gardens and central valley. We were sad to leave for the transfer back to SJO airport for our flight home.

Wow! What a beautiful property! Our room was so pretty. There was a separate room for my kids (bonus!). The decor was absolutely charming. The pool area looked like paradise, but we only stayed one night so didn't have time to swim. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was excellent. I know some reviewers labeled it over-priced, but I thought it was completely worth it. I'm only sorry we couldn't have stayed longer!
