"I arrived so tired and the night checkin was friendly and efficient and … did not mind repeating some of the instructions, even though she was completely clear the first time.  She spoke very good English.  She laughed at my stupid joke.  She was kind.  I felt safe walking as a woman alone through the grounds to my room, they were very well lit and easy to navigate.  The next morning, the desk staff was pleasant and efficient and made it easy to change my dollars to local currency at a decent exchange rate!  I am very very pleased with Country Inn Aeroporto in Sane Jose, Costa Rica."

"Traveling as a group of 8 friends. First night in CR here as it was about 1/2 hr from airport and in the direction we wanted to go. Basic hotel. Room adequate but basic. Staff friendly and helpful. Certainly the most basic hotel we have stayed in so far. As others have said, this is not a resort. Breakfast was US$13 pp which i thought was pricey for what is was. There is a good local bar for beer and food out of hotel turn R and then turn R at the next major road and a couple of hundred yards down on the right. 8-10 min walk. Area seemed safe enough and hotel confirmed walking was fine."

Getting to know her and her pets a little during my overnight stay was a joy. The bed and breakfast itself was splendid--genuine, comfortable, tranquil, and nicely decorated with Costa Rican art. She also fed me really well! Stay here if you want to be a guest, treated like a human being instead of a commodity."
