The staff was unfriendly, you stand at the counter with a question they look over you. The food is awful, lots of choice but not edible.

We went as a family of 5 in August. My husband wanted to stay at home as he read the reviews the night before! Firstly please don@t worry about the reviews we actually had an amazing time. The beach is ok the little one is great when there are waves. The room was basic and clean. There are four pools the salt water one by the sea the kids popped down but didn't like that one so the next one up was nice with a little splash pad, just around the corner is another nice pool with the bar. Our favourite was through the top restaurant where the really good water slides are and then down the hill to a lovely quiet pool. Four of us are Coeliac so we used both restaurants they have exactly the same food just a different layout we were moved to the top one for ease of access to gluten free foods from the Chef. My husband hired a bike and went out everyday he even got an upgrade, the bike was dropped off and collected from the Hotel. The food was good and as you would expect from an All Inclusive, the drinks as we had read were only undrinkable Red or White wine, Ozo or Brandy plus beer which was unusual but we are not big drinkers and I brought a bottle of rum at the airport for when we fancied a drink. Things that could be improved, we had a two bedroom room but one air con unit that wasn't man enough for one room let alone two but these are all being upgraded apparently in the winter. Only one key which was a real pain when my husband went out cycling. No wifi not even at reception it would take over half an hour to log the three children on and low data so couldn't download. We had a great holiday the weather was amazing the food and service was great, the water slides were fantastic the air con and wifi would have made this perfect but as long as your not aiming to get plastered then this hotel is great not many English lots of Greek, German and Polish there were no Russians that we saw. Enjoy we did.

You offered us Eri Beach Hotel and if we didn't accept by 21/07 you would assume we accepted and book us in anyway? We had no choice but to accept at such late notice, particularly a family of eight and worried that there wouldn’t be availability elsewhere as this is a busy time of year. Check-in - The man gave us a map, circled the pool area, 1 all inclusive bar & restaurant. We was shown to our rooms late at night with no food or water available. Placed miles apart. We went to reception on a couple of occasions to discuss issues but the woman was rude, abrupt. No other info was provided. Check out at 11.00am morning of departure 04/08/23 shower rooms available, informed by another guest. The men’s shower room stunk of raw sewage. This was reported to the manager instantly who did nothing and didn’t seem to care. Main Restaurant - Staff unfriendly, unhelpful and miserable. Constantly standing around when tables need clearing. Trolleys with dirty food and plates were pushed between tables whilst people were still eating. Refused to replenish cups, plates and cutlery when asked. Ran out of tea bags on several occasions when asked for more we were told they would bring it over, never came. Some dishes from lunch were used as evening meals and possibly next day. Very little choice, although restaurant is a considerable size. Hot plate dishes repetitive. No children’s options. Main hot plate in darkness, particularly evening meal, Nothing labelled. I asked for an omelette at breakfast and was told no. Next day same staff member was doing another man an omelette so I politely asked again, he said no. I spoke to the manager who did sort this instantly. There was a lovely lady who was smiley and helpful each day after this. Inside the main restaurant doors sewage came up overflowed from a drain outside. They closed those doors and opened the doors opposite and continued to admit guests even though the smell was putrid and a massive hygiene issue. Whilst eating hot porridge I discovered bugs in it I looked at the cold porridge in a different area which also had bugs in it. My daughter witnessed kitchen staff smoking whilst preparing food. We had no choice but to eat out for 10 days which as you can imagine is very expensive for a family of eight! Rooms - Beds made and some clean towels were provided but no sign of any cleaning. Shower slow it took 10 minutes to rinse your hair. In my daughters room the main bath taps were hanging from the wall. Beds made and clean towels were again provided but no sign of any cleaning taking place. A T shirt left under the bed from a previous guest. The dirt under the bed was disgusting. Toothpaste left in the sink which was still there when we checked out. The shower curtain held up by a pole jammed between two walls my daughter opened the curtain the pole fell down hitting her on the head lucky it didn’t hit a child. All inclusive pool bar- Beer and wine ONLY. Tea and coffee when they haven't run out as they woul

Arrived at the hotel after transfer was late on the 11/09/2023 we paid to have an upgraded room due to this being our honeymoon, checked in at the hotel we had to pay a fee for an air conditioning that didn’t work correctly, after a long flight and a long day we just wanted some rest so the morning after we arrived we had a look around the room we had been given a family room with bunk beds in it, the balcony door didn’t lock which put us a bit uneasy, the shower didn’t work correctly the sink was leaking we had holes in the bathroom ceiling and loads of damp, we was also bitten in the room whilst there to what looks like flea bites, the air conditioning was not fixed onto the wall correctly. We spoke to the manager of the hotel the following morning who was rude and unprofessional she said it is what it is, this is not professional at all as we paid to upgrade this was not the original hotel that we booked out hotel got changed 3 weeks before we flew to Eri beach. I have allergies and the food was repetitive everyday for lunch and dinner it was the same food, but because there was no labels on anything to tell you the contents of the food, this made myself very unwell to the point it ruined the first 3 days of our holiday after this we had no choice but to eat out of the hotel, this is meant to be all inclusive however the only drinks served is local beer, local wine fizzy drinks water and ouzo and brandy there is no cocktails or mock tails, very disappointing. Both me and my husband will never ever recommend this hotel, check out was 11am the maid just walked in at 8;30am, no warning. There was no hotel entertainment and never seen the kids club running during our stay

This hotel in its day was a lovely hotel. The accommodation is very run down. Staff miserable I personal think they were closing down or been bought out by the Star hotel next door Photos on holiday sites are very old photos The toilets you have to use during the night are the same as used during day by the pool filthy Food for breakfast lunch was nice except as week went on lots off variety disappeared Drink you cold have brandy ouzo wine or beer Beer and wine was disgusting drinking out off plastic cups in evening was not nice No we’re to sit quietly and have a drink at night The only good drinks was the prepaid bar and the lady serving was lovely. The location to beach is very good and pools were nice other than that it’s horrible I reported the state of the toilets nothing done I am amazed no one got very ill No ice creams for kids during day only ice cream at lunch and dinner Cakes during afternoon tea were dry and horrible I have never been to an all inclusive like it Do not go to this hotel Hairdryer so old does not work no plugs in bathroom ask for one receptionist threw it at me

Initially we planned to go to Turkey in early September, but it so happened that in August, after looking at the full price for a booked trip for our family (my wife and I and two sons, 14 and 18 years old), I realized that the offer price was beyond the budget. I had to quickly look for a replacement. Requirements: all-inclusive, private beach and reasonable price. The decision was made by my wife, so I found out that we were flying to Erie Beach after the fact. I’ll make a reservation that 10 years ago we were already there, but at the very end of the season (end of October), accordingly, some of the services were no longer available. However, the review will sometimes include comparisons between then and now. Realizing that a lot could have changed in 10 years, I began to read reviews. At first it seemed like “boss, everything is gone, the plaster is being removed, the client is leaving.” However, upon arrival everything turned out to be not so bad. So, the Erie Beach & Village hotel is a sample September 2023. However, keep in mind that we are very unpretentious both in everyday life and in food. The size of the territory has increased (it seems that a neighboring hotel was purchased). There is quite a lot of entertainment on the territory - 2 mini water parks (one was installed in April 2023), several bars (I found 4, but perhaps more), 4 or 5 swimming pools - simple, with slides (2 pieces), for kids, etc. etc., every day there is an animation program (but we weren’t there, so I can’t say), and a show in the evening. The food is not bad. Every meal, at least 3 types of meat (and next to the dish there was a sign indicating what kind of meat - this is important for us because one of them cannot digest lamb), fish, seafood every 2 days. Side dish - pasta, rice, potatoes in different types. Vegetables, fruits, sweets, cheese and something else (we couldn’t try everything). In principle, the desire to go to restaurants in the neighborhood never arose. Of course, there was self-service, because you need to understand that it will not be possible to feed 1500+ people with the help of waiters and “whatever you want”, or it will cost completely different money. The only thing I didn’t like was that the dishes were washed so-so (but having a dishwasher at home, sometimes I get dishes that aren’t perfectly washed). The room was two-room and with 2 bathrooms; if necessary, closing the door between the rooms we get 2 separate rooms with all amenities. It’s clear that for +/- 500 euros per week with flights and all-inclusive, there will be no marble and gold. Let's just say the renovation is a C grade, and if when painting the room they used tape so that the paint of the walls and ceiling would have a clear boundary, and during the renovation they removed the no longer used boxes from the old air conditioner, then I would confidently give it a 4. Since the hotel is located on the 1st line, it has its own beach. A children's splash pool, a separate pier from the sea and an adult swimming pool. Both here and there were sand, not stones (before there was no sand), but the adult swimsuit was not very big, so sometimes there were too many people. True, there are 3 more bays nearby where you can swim. Next to the hotel is the main shopping street, with shops, car/motorcycle/quad rentals, travel agencies offering travel and entertainment both in Crete and on

RONDUIT VERSCHRIKKELIJK! geen woorden voor dit hotel. Achterstallig onderhoud, alles is kapot of vies.

Myself & my partner & 2 children recently stayed at the Eri Beach Village and i have to say we had a fabulous stay the Hotel itself is amazing full of lots of things to keep the family entertained the water park is amazing. I am going to start with the bad points on arrival we was shown to our room which was a nice size room very clean the only bad thing was that our Air-Con did not work this was reported the next morning as it was so hot in the room they said an engineer would come and look after another uncomfortable night trying to sleep with no Air-Con again this was reported to reception and again promised someone would come out the next morning at just before 8 in the morning and engineer let himself into the room i had just got out the shower i quickly got dressed and went out the room to speak with him and asked him to come back later when the others was awake needless to say again another sleepless night as no engineer came to look this again was reported i eventually came back late in the evening to what felt like walking into a oven i went to reception and said this needed dealing with ASAP the guy on reception came back to the room and felt the heat and found us another room he said we could change rooms in the morning which was great finally i got some sleep. thats it no more bad points so good points as i said rooms where clean and large, the pool area was clean and well maintained kids had a great time on the slides the outside bar the staff worked hard and was busy all the time but we didn't have to wait long to be served, the restaurant was huge with loads of variety and choice so much to choose from and yes you can get the same things on different days but like i said there was lots to choose from the children struggled as there was not much English choice on the menu but there was always something they could find so my opinion of the whole holiday was nice place, lovely staff so thank you for making our holiday special.

The room I lived in, located on the ground floor, was very small, a suitcase took up half the room (standing on the only chair), a miniature wardrobe without shelves with 1 hanger, a TV without a remote control, so it was never turned on. The view from the window is a wall (photo attached) and the legs of passers-by, a few meters from the balcony there is a concert area (the music was blaring furiously!!) and a gym where they constantly threw the barbell onto the floor with a roar!!! I couldn’t even imagine that a 4-star hotel could have such rooms!!! The sea is nearby, 2 miniature bays: In one, (knee-deep), children were splashing with delight, in the other there were a huge number of vacationers, there was very little space, swimming was very unpleasant, you kept bumping into someone....I.E. .it’s impossible to swim near the hotel, but if you walk about 20 minutes towards the city beach, you can find better places...but it’s not particularly clean there either... It’s best to go by bus to Stalida - 10 minutes by bus, there you’ll find beautiful beach.... The hotel room was relatively clean, cleaned and towels changed every day. Nutrition. Ordinary, no frills, but you won’t leave hungry... I was surprised by the lack of hot drinks (tea, coffee, boiling water) in the main restaurant during lunch and dinner... overall I didn’t like the hotel..
