We checked in on April on April 10 and were told that we had to pay VAT tax. After a discussion with the manager, Dean, he agreed to put our reservation under my American passport. We are also Marriot Bonvoy Gold Elite and under the reservation, breakfast is included. We had breakfast, which is quite good, and no one said anything about a charge. On the second day, we started to get conflicting messages. One employee said there is no charge and another said that there is. This became a daily routine. One employee signed a note saying that breakfast is included, only to have Dean calling and saying that it's not so. This lack of customer service and aggravation has ruined our stay. Shameful!
