ApartHotel Okeanos on the Beach

We ended up staying here directly through the hotel. For future customers, this is a scam. They say you will get a sea view, but instead you are given a parking lot view or a street view. We were told all the rooms with a view were booked. On the website they do not mention that the supposed sea views are only in the higher up rooms, and you have no idea what you are getting until you arrive. We only had access to cable tv for an hour on the second day after I complained that we didn't have it at all the first day, and otherwise the TVs did not work. No one is available to help after 5 or 6pm (depended on which day but they do not have night coverage except they say for emergencies, but we were told this by WhatsApp). The second day we found mud had been splattered over our balcony covering my daughter's swim suit and our towels. they only apologized after I expressed my shock that they had not when I asked them about what happened. We were told explicitly when we asked for the sea view that the manager would contact us. We have not received any contact in any form from a manager. I have never felt the need to notify a booking site about a place in a bad way before, but this is a scam and the management is honestly the worst I have ever seen. Also, the paint is chipping off the walls and the facility is in poor condition. The towels are bare bones thin. The pool does not face the water but a parking lot. It is not like the photos. Hoping no one else has to go through this.

Apartment 708 at the Okeanus Marina, Herzliya was beyond my expectations. Amazing accommodation for one or two people, well equipped, clean, beautiful views, central and just an experience that made me cancel my other accommodation in Herzliya and go back to the Okeanus! My only complaint was that the doormen (most of them) were unfriendly and unhelpful but that was such a minor part of the time spent there that it did not really matter at all.Also, the water leaked on the floor the one day in the bathroom but it was quickly seen to. I would highly recommend this apartment. Cannot wait to go back!

We only booked to join. Our family who had also booked. A few days before they were contacted by Okeanos to inform their booking was cancelled ! So please be mindful of this should you choose to book. The good Average rooms , but on arrival used towels and dirty toilet.They did however respond quickly to resolve nice Lobby entrance decor Less good. There is a pool and a gym but need to hand your passport in to security guard to use either. Really not convenient and a bit bizarre Can only access pool between 10-5 in May - 19-6 in June good On Saturdays impossible to sit by the pool as was was full of not hotel resident families and thousands of kids they simply tailgated their way in . We would not stay here again, much better value can easily be found in the area

As an ardent Traveller for many years I have never experienced such a complicated pre arrival registration procedure.I was on a cruise and 2 days before arrival received a request to fill out the 3 page form on line.they asked numerous questions and copies of passport etc well I filled out the first 2 pages and would not proceed to page 3 so I enlisted the it specialist on Seabourn for help but even he couldn't proceed to page 3! I reached out via WhatsApp to Okeanos explaining the situation and got a quick response that unless it was filled out they would not issue the keys so got back to them again and got same response soby this time feeling very stressed. I eventually emailed them and got a response. In the meantime they tried to take payment for the 8 days on my credit card but my credit card refused believing it to be a fraudulent transactions so then I had to contact my cc company overseas to explain it was not a fraudulent transactions and eventually payment unblocked. Again the amount of stress involved and no apology! We arrived in the evening and I was very disappointed with the apartment everything done on the cheap,terrible mattress and hard pillows.Cheapest of furniture the apartment needs a complete upgrade. On the plus side we had a nice view and balcony and I should add Natan was very helpful. Cleaning meant to be every 5 days but didn't happen until day 7 I was told by management all the apartment furnished the same way.Forgot to mention ripped towels(they were replaced) and a lot of mould in the bathroom

The positives - beautiful building, we loved the two apartment units we had, it ended up overall being great for a family shabbat away (we live 30 minutes away). The negatives - the whole booking and check in process was unduly stressful, because there is no way to communicate with any one except via whatsapp. No one to call. The whatsapps send auto-responses each time you send a message. Sometimes someone responds right away, other times more than 24 hours later. After reading all the bad reviews I was worried. They sent me a check in link the morning before check in, I clicked on it within an hour, one of our rooms checked in fine, the other did not. I tried reaching them all day via whaysapp but no response except the automated messages. I was worried the rooms would not be there the next day. The next day mid day they finally answered and the rooms were ready. The parking did not work for us and no one answered us via whatsapp so we did public parking. The whole lack of communication was frustrating, and produced so much stress before what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. We did enjoy our time there but it was not worth all the stress leading up, having no one to call or ask and waiting for responses that at some point took over 24 hours. Also be sure to bring things like paper towels, napkins, kitchen towels, there were none in our apt. The units were very clean and nice and spacious, and welcoming and we did really enjoy them, it was the booking and check in that I found really stressful, which explains my rating. If there had been someone to call and talk to who was helpful it would have rated it higher.

Horrendous dirty filthy ApartHotel, that even a deep clean would not fix. Rude management. Avoid at all costs. Tried to get a refund as when we arrived and saw the filthy state we did not want to stay. Booked through ******* who would not assist, and when we eventually managed to speak to the manager Edan, who was not on site, he was rude and aggressive to my wife. Spoke to many others who also experienced similar. Add to this the fact that essentially there is no proper reception, just a security guard who issues the pool access tags daily, but only of you leave an ID.like a driving licence. Aside from one duty manager, Matin, who was doing his very best to help us, and genuinely did what he could to improve the situation for us and other guests with similar problems the rest of the people running this operation were basically absent. Avoid Avoid Avoid at all costs. If you have a forthcoming reservation and are still in time to get a free cancellation just do it and Avoid this horrendous place.
