Four of us went for food and drinks. Excellent all round and Danielle was friendly and helpful. Very nice atmosphere for a Friday night. Can’t wait to go back to try more on the menu. Food was really yummy!

We arrived at the pub at around 3.00 pm and ordered food and drinks. Since it was really busy inside, we decided to stay outside. We waited for half an hour and our food hadn’t arrived. I went inside to inquire and they said they had lost our ticket, which was strange as we ordered at the bar and the order had been put through a computer. I was told it would be another 15 minutes. I asked for a refund and left hungry and disappointed.

We called in for a drink last night ( 9th Dec) before meeting up with friends. I was the designated driver and was charged £2:95 for a half pint of soda water & lime. What a rip off, that worked out to be more expensive than a pint of Camden Ale. Never to return.

Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Danielle and Emma were incredibly friendly and on point. Was there visiting long time friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Definitely ended my visit to Wooburn in an excellent way.

I visited the pub with some friends for the evening. The pub has a great atmosphere and the service from Danielle is always excellent. She is very friendly and attentive. I always have a great time here and I look forward to going back in the very near future.

Took my family of 4 for a Saturday evening meal at 7pm We had booked a week before but when we arrived it was evident that we had been forgotten as there was a large party in the back room and we were put in the small snug in the front of the pub. After ordering our food of 2 x Chook burgers, 1 x Dirty Burger and 1 x Sharing Plate we waited. After 50 mins we were told they were sorry for the delay but our food would be next in line. After another 20 mins the food started to arrive- the Dirty burger yes, another burger not ours, the 2 Chook burgers yes. No platter. We were then told there was a mistake and no platter was available. ‘Would we like the burger’ was asked NO our reply. ‘Sorry chef has now left- would we like a sweet instead!!! Although we were reimbursed for the meal and was apologised to it left us feeling that the night had been spoilt. The food we did have was tasty and well presented but we will not be back.

Worst Sunday roast I have ever had I am In complete shock. We booked here for our fathers 75th birthday for him to reminisce his early years. Unfortunately the worse experience of a roast. List of bad points - pork undercooked with one slice Beef two slices No crackling just soggy fat Endless gravy on the menu was like water and flavourless. Roast potatoes fried and fried over and over again Offer three selections beef pork or chicken (to share for 2-3 people) so no chicken left at 1pm Veg under cooked and very limited Plates are cold Meal Luke warm Cauliflower cheese you order separate for £5 and is like watery flavoured cauliflower cheese which is under cooked. No flavour at all. Waitress did not ask if we wished for any sauces etc. I speedily asked for apple sauce x 3 Received three tiny pots of sauce with not even a tea spoon in each. We brought a cake with us to surprise him after. To only be shocked that they put it on the floor behind there serving counter. Waitress put a smile on your face it helps. Offer of a free pudding not acceptable . Good points - Arrival the lady found us a seat to help with having an elderly birthday boy seated comfortably. Drinks served quickly 20% discount after complaint however not worth the money. Yorkshire puddings lovely WHAT A LET DOWN !

What an absolute find!! Went for Sunday lunch yesterday to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday, and was not disappointed. 3 people shared the whole roast chicken (literally a large chicken brought out on a platter, with extra large Yorkshire puddings, perfect roasties and delicious veg), and 1 beef dinner cooked to perfection. Service was lovely. The only thing to note was that you order food and drink at the bar, which were weren't aware of, so spent a little too long waiting to be served until we realised.
