Toyoko Inn Hikone Eki Higashi Guchi Reviews

We booked this hotel because it was near the station. However, the bed sheets and bathroom was dirty; the aircon was as noisy as an airplane engine and not even warm; they have 3 workers at the concierge but won't help at all but ask you to use the machine. Check in and check out times were ridiculous, 16:00 in and 10:00 out, never seen before. Standard is 15:00 in and 11:00 out

Room is clean and room is large. Room facilities is enough for a traveler. But the breakfast has a few choice and does not taste good, just fair. Too crowd in the lobby at about 6:30 am breakfast time and have to queue up for a long time to get a breakfast

Although the room is small, it has everything you need. The hotel has parking for 500 yen per night, which is suitable for us who drive by ourselves. The room is close to the railway track, but fortunately the double-glazed glass has almost no impact. Except for the small room, everything else is good.

It's close to the station. The price is quite reasonable among hotels around Hikone. There are no convenience stores around (there is one on the opposite side of the station ticket gate at the west exit), but you can buy drinks and alcohol from the vending machine in the lobby on the first floor, there is also water and an ice machine, and breakfast is free. Amenity goods are normal. I would be more happy if they had lotion, cotton puffs, etc.
