If there was a special reason why the child rate was not applied, they should have confirmed it at the time of booking and contacted me in advance, but the hotel staff should have known that it was impossible to find a hotel that could be booked on the day after arriving at the hotel while making an exhausted child wait. Moreover, even if I was lucky to find another hotel, they said that if I did not stay at Toyoko Inn, I would have to cancel on the day and be charged 100% of the accommodation fee, which was essentially a threat. Is it okay to charge an extra fee using such a fraudulent method? In the hotel room, my child was bitten by a tick and was itchy and painful, and I couldn't sleep, and at breakfast, an elderly male guest was pushing my child from behind in the line, but no one warned him, so in the end, I had a bad experience at Toyoko Inn Himeji and it was a very sad stay. It's a shame.

Very convenient in front of the station, the day I stayed was quite cold The air conditioning in the room was not very warm. I made it close to 30 degrees, but the staff received a very kind feeling. I will stay again.

It's not new, but it was clean. It's very convenient, as it's only a few hundred meters away after getting off the Shinkansen and leaving the south exit (there is a short crosswalk but no traffic lights). I was torn between this and Toyoko Inn Himeji Station Shinkansen North Exit, but I would recommend this if you're using Himeji Station as your base for travel, such as using the special rapid service. The buffet-style breakfast can be taken back to your room and eaten in peace. Be careful, though, as you have to pick up your loungewear from the front desk!
