The hotel is a nice, small mountain hotel. Some rooms are quite spacious, but the ones with single bed are rather small. Keep this in mind while making your choice. Can't say anything about breakfast, since I didn't have any breakfast at the hotel. The pillows are extremely soft, so much that it feels like you're sleeping without a pillow. I found it uncomfortable, but everyone has their own preference in this matter. In the rooms there isn't any bottled still water, so if you're not comfortable with drinking tap water, bring your own. Even though I liked the hotel in general, I have to say the single bed needs to be renewed. Each morning I felt like I spent the previous night on an uncomfortable couch.

Bella struttura in zona confortevole per visitare la Foresta Nera. Camera family molto spaziosa e comoda, ben riscaldata. La colazione ê molto ricca e di qualità. Si siamo trovati bene; buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Wir besuchten mit unserer 9-jährigen Tochter Hinterzarten und hatten vorab über *********** gebucht. Dass unsere Tochter mitreisen würde, hatte das Hotel nicht registriert, allerdings wurde umgehend das Schlafsofa im Raum hergerichtet. Das Zimmer hatte eine gute Größe, so dass wir am Abend uns dort auch gut aufhalten konnten, das Badezimmer war ebenfalls groß. Duschvorhang statt Duschkabine war der einzige Nachteil, ansonsten war alles vorhanden. Es wurde täglich gereinigt, das Zimmer war immer sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war gut, es wurden frische Brötchen sowie Wurst und Käse angeboten. Marmelade war frisch, Honig und Schoko abgepackt. Es gab 4 verschiedene Säfte (aus dem Tetra Pak) sowie Milch. Warme Getränke wurden bestellt, wobei sich der "Früchtetee" als "Türkischer Apfel" entpuppte. Einmal waren die Eier kalt. Die Lage ist gut (aber Hinterzarten auch klein), allerdings hatten wir mit dem Parkplatz immer mal wieder Probleme. Um das Haus herum gibt es 10 Stellplätze (bei ca. 20 Zimmern), und da es in Hinterzarten keine kostenfreien Parkplätze gibt, hatten wir an zwei Tagen ein Problem - bei dem uns auch nicht geholfen wurde. Wir wurden gebeten, unser Auto "in einer Seitenstraße" zu parken, die es so nicht gab. In Summe warn wir mit der Unterkunft selbst zufrieden, ein paar unangenehme Ereignisse trüben das Bild.

Affordable quirky hotel. A bit dated but spotlessly clean. Best 5 Star breakfast! Best of all are Eugene and his wife who are very friendly and welcoming. Eugene came to the rescue when I got late into the village and couldn’t find accommodation. I would recommend this hotel!

Die Geschäftsleitung sollte die Preise mal überdenken. Familienzimmer müßte unbedingt renoviert werden. Für 2 Übernachtungen mit 2 Erwachsenen 1 Kind und Hund inclusive Kurtaxe 537,- Euro ist nicht annähernd berechtigt. Ingesamt unbefriedigend

Sauber, gemütlich, alles was man braucht. Supernettes Personal, sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit, flexibel, sehr freundlich. Wenn wir mal wieder nach Hinterzarten kommen sollten, werden wir wieder dort nächtigen.

Hôtel très propre bien situé je recommande vivement proche de restaurant italien pizza pâtes fine penne arabiata un régal le petit expresso serré comme il faut ensuite balade dans le parc pour la digestion superbe
