Hotels with Bars in Hiroshima

The location of the hotel is the best in Hiroshima, I have to say. It's less than 10 minutes walk to Hiroshima Castle, 15 minutes from Nuclear Bombing Dome, and right beside one the biggest shopping Plaza in Hiroshima. However, the amenities and service are quite disappointing. Very slow internet, broken AC and terrible breakfast are some of many complains that I have. By the way, they have spa, gym, and indoor swimming pool which none of them are usable. You have to be a member or pay extra to use them. Very ridiculous, they should state the condition on the app before someone books the hotel. Big minus from me.

VERY convenient location - just steps from Hiroshima train station. Staff are very nice and helpful. Room was on high floor and very nice view. Since it is in transit center, it is very easy to take trains, trolleys, subways around town. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. They put an extra bed in room since there were 3 of us, but it made the room a bit crowded. The 2 doubles would have been comfortable enough for us. Room and bath were very nicely appointed - I’m not sure about other travelers’ criticism - I think the layout was quite typical for Japanese rooms. It was also very convenient to have the change machine in the lobby to exchange currency. Breakfasts were good and staff were quite accommodating

The hotel is right next to JR Hiroshima Station and is directly connected to the station. The surrounding commercial facilities are mature and the transportation is convenient. Especially the tram is interesting and I recommend you to try it. There are also many restaurants in the JR station.

Stayed for 1 night in twin room 1130 on Saturday, December 23rd. It's great to be able to take it slow The illuminations on the main street also looked beautiful. Breakfast is great (steak is delicious in the morning, curry is also delicious) This is a hotel I would like to stay at again.

It is a modern hotel with a rebranded feeling. The interior is also renovated beautifully, but I was also worried that it was sacrificed by several concept priorities. The front desk is on the top floor, but there are few elevators, so people who go to the front desk and people who go to the room are always waiting. There is no front desk staff in the midnight zone, and when I checked out at AM5 to catch an early morning flight, there is no key recovery box that I heard that it was installed in 1F, and it is wasted to the front desk on the top floor and back in the back I was excused by the sleeping staff who would have been sleeping, and I couldn't feel it from the morning. 1F is a fashionable Italian restaurant, and there are many uses other than hotel users, but there is no accommodation privilege, and there are a large number of insects in the plant near the open table outside.

Situated only a couple of minutes walk from Hondori shopping street and about 10 minutes walk, depending on if you’re a snail pace walker or someone who walks as fast as an angry mother who’s about to complain to the school board about something, from the Peace Memorial Park lies Santiago Guest House. A hostel that is a bit of a pain to find with it only being sign posted by those hanging signs attached to high rise buildings that are literally everywhere in Japan. With said buildings hosting separate businesses on each floor, it may stress you out finding it but upon entry the stress will go bye bye from its general aesthetically pleasing outlook. A modern and polished looked hostel who’s reception lies right next the common room and kitchen area, giving everyone in there a look at the fresh meat coming in. The common area and reception give a friendly vibe out from the on set with bean bags, couches, two TVs (one with a PlayStation 3) and shelves holding games and cuddly toys for you to spoon like they’re your partner whilst watching a rom com on Netflix. Generally the 6th floor where there is one dorm room and the kitchen and common area is quality. The kitchen is a little small in size but it does the job plus you’re in Japan where bento boxes are a way of life. Plus you can always just jaunt to the local supermarket- Yours- between 8:15 – 8:40pm where the bento boxes, salad and sushi goes half price, which the foreign helpers for free accommodation do pretty much every night. The so-called Japanese-style ”Grand Hotel” with a wedding hall and conference room. The single room is a business specification. The point is that a drip pod is installed in the room. You can drink drip coffee easily, so it's a nice facility. It's about a 5-minute walk to the Shinkansen exit of Hiroshima Station. It's a relatively convenient location, but when it comes to the center of Hiroshima, it's around Kamiyacho from Hachichobori, so I think it's a good choice for motorcycles. The motorcycle can be parked in a covered space between the car and the entrance.

I saw the latest hotel introduction in the casa magazine in the afternoon. The small hotel that opened in September is the most attractive is the green house restaurant rebuilt by the pool before 3/f. The GPS phone has not been located yet, but it is easy to find. The design is simple and industrial. The front desk clerk is very good at English, so you have to go across the next street to take pictures of the car. Be careful of making mistakes. Originally, the room we booked was originally only one with a sloping ceiling, but it was gone when we arrived. Maybe they placed the wrong photo in the order, and they changed to another room with a large window. The design is special, but I personally think that the proportion of furniture is a bit large, and the wooden furniture is all hard square corners. It is a bit dangerous for children. The windows of the room are not tightly sealed, and cold wind blows in all night, and because of the loft bed design, the air is adjusted to 27 degrees inside the air and feels very cold, because the warm air only blows to the upper bed and can’t come under, I hope the hotel can improve it. .

The price is really cheap, 10 minutes walk from Yokogawa Station. Downstairs is 711 for the whole family. Attractions are not afraid of trouble to walk for 10 minutes to the city center. The disadvantage is that there is no curtain in this room, the hotel does not have an elevator, in fact, it is a hotel converted into an apartment in Japan, and the water flow in the bath is so small. Check-in is basically self-service, stayed for 3 days, except to see the young lady who cleaned in the morning, did not see anyone at the front desk. If you save money, you can consider living, health is justified, and the residential areas next to it are quiet.

I spent a night here while backpacking around Japan with a JR Rail Pass. The place was easy to find with my phone guiding me. Maybe a little far from Hiroshima station to roll a suitcase with wheels over noisy road surfaces at night, but not bad for those travelling lightly. It's also not far from the local sports stadium. First floor of this hostel is a sports bar/restaurant. The hostel entrance is off to the left side of the building front. One of the staff from the bar will come to a window to get you checked in. Once checked in you will have in/out privileges with a passcode. The second floor is a living room type common area. There are couches, desks, manga to read, a guitar to play with and sightseeing info available here. Also stairs leading down to the sports bar and you can hear the patrons down there clearly. Once the bar closes for the night, this common room is also closed to hostel guests. The rest of the floors are sleeping and restroom areas. Unlike a typical capsule hotel this one looks handmade with wooden capsule and ladders. It was actually more comfortable than other capsules I stayed in on this trip. The futon mattress felt fluffier than normal. There was a privacy curtain but there was no way to seal and lock it as in many other capsule hotels. The price was extremely reasonable and I will probably stay here again on a future trip to Hiroshima.
