Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hiroshima Reviews

Exact same room layout as the other sotetsu hotel I’ve stayed at which is good. Location is great, breakfast is decent but go early as popular dishes run out. Very popular with tourists.

No frills hotel located just opposite Hiroshima Station with a Lawson conveniently located on the ground floor. Room was really small so avoid bringing more than 1 luggage if possible. Found some rubbish likely left behind by the previous guest and the washing machines in the laundry room had lots of lint in the rim which got on to some of my clothes and post washing my clothes had an odor too. However, props to the hotel for having a smart system to allow different cashless payment modes for the washing machines, clear instructions and a PIN for you to prevent clothes theft.

It was our first time staying at this hotel and we were very satisfied with it. It is strategically located near the JR Hiroshima station, just a 5min walk from the nearest exit. The hotel is also very near the street car station (just behind the hotel) which we used it to get to many places in hiroshima easily. There are many malls within the vicinity, with a big Edion mall just opposite the hotel and big camera just about less than 5mins walk away. There's also a Lawson just right downstairs so that you can get any snacks or drinks easily. The room is very clean and isn't very small as expected. We were able to open up our 24inch luggage easily. You can also store your luggage under the bed. The amenities are free for everyone at the reception counter. You'll have to collect it yourself so we collected our 3days supply so we don't have to keep going to reception floor to get it. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay and will definitely stay here again if we visit Hiroshima in future.

The location is so good that you just need to walk like 5 mins to get to the hotel. Easy check in. Room is clean but might be a bit small if you’re carrying two suitcases. I got some prizes from the game centre and just threw them on bed without paying attention. The staff who made my bed was so sweet for putting my prizes on my bed tidy and neat. This truly made my day! Good service!

Very near train station, with lawson right below hotel. Hotel does not provide bottled water. Staff is reponsible: they broke a small item that we deposited with them and they told us immediately when we collected our bags and wanted to pay for it. We did not accept it but asked if bottled water was provided in hotel room and they immediately gave us a few bottles for free.

The hotel was very clean and near the Train Station. A short 5 mins walk. If you have big luggage like us, it is easily to be push to the hotel. There are self service amenities counter where you can take items like tooth brush, combs, tea bags, and even facial cleaners and masks for ladies. The service and self check in was a breeze, if you not sure, there are counter staff to assist you. The double room is small and compact but very clean. Toilet and bath is good. A good place to stay if you are going to explore Hiroshima City and it's surroundings.

It was very well located for us as we were doing a pit stop in Hiroshima and needed to be close to the train station. We do have very frequent buses to the city center and major touristic sights.

Great hotel, close to the station. There is a really good chinese restaurant nearby, shop name is 黄記饕餮 (コウキトウテツ)

The hotel is good location near Hiroshima Station and no need to take anything.

Clean room, very friendly staff. 10min walk to subway station.

Room size is small, can only put one luggage. I stayed two days and there was no replenishment of bottle water.
