It was average. The staff mixed up the booking. Then sorted it out. The place is rustic. Towels are a little old

Absolutely amazing. As authentic as a modern day attempt to represent traditional lifestyle/culture could possibly be. This was exceptional. We do not do “cultural” shows because we find them to be shabby and touristy, but this was a valid tribute. We learned language, saw practical demonstrations, witnessed a traditional hamlet and viewed several dances. Our guide and the village hostess were excellent. We visited as part of a cruise excursion. The participants, they were not “performers”, were genuine in their attempt to proudly communicate their culture.

We had a great stay here. Very spacious rooms, well laid out, clean and tidy. Outsides painted in traditional tribal colours and buildings laid out in nice gardens. The staff are very friendly and helpful, being happy to help with our last minute requests.

Spent a weekend at Dumazulu. The snake tour was fantastic 👌🏻 Donald Schultz is a wonderful guide and extremely knowledgeable. He really goes the extra mile and explains in detail (well worth the money). The unit we stayed in was very clean, and staff were friendly. Over all, a great weekend and experience.

Amazing experience, neat and beautiful rooms. Staff is friendly, food was amazing and the cultural dances was absolutely entertaining! They made us take part in dances without making you feel uncomfortable Warm water, wifi and beautiful gardens. Will go back.

It is an excellent lodge with a warm and friendly staff. They just need to pay special attention to a few minor but important details like ensuring that appliances like kettle is in good working condition and the tea station is placed in such a way that it is easily seen. The bathing towels are readily displayed at the first day of arrival of new guests. Otherwise, they exceeded my expectation with everything else at such a reasonably good price. They are a 5 star lodge.

Diese Unterkunft, in der ich 2 Nächte verbringen musste, mag manchem urig oder typisch afrikanisch erscheinen. Aber typisch afrikanisch ist für mich nicht eine völlig überteuerte Lodge im Nirgendwo mit völlig unmotiviertem Personal. Internet gab es nur an der Rezeption, und nur, wenn kein Stromausfall war. Stromausfall war eher die Regel als die Ausnahme. Im Restaurant gab es nur das, was das Personal bereit war anzubieten und das war wenig. Wenn der Kaffee aus war, dann war eben Schluss. Am Abend ging es wohl eher um eine lausige Gesangsdarbietung des Personals gegen Trinkgeld.
