Anew Hotel Hluhluwe

"Anew Hotel has the best staff, amazing pool, wonderful landscape, and location. They are close to KFC, steers, fishaways- however the hotel itself makes the most delicious food and desserts. Thami , Sbo and Giraad were always helpful and did their best to welcome us and make us comfortable. Our room- 100A ( separate from the main hotel, which was amazing as it had the view of the garden and our own parking and space), did noy have wifi coverage. We had to walk to the hotel itself for network. If you do not have data or an SA Sim card,this can be an issue. We did the following activities which were all in a 20 to 30 min close vicinity of the hotel. 1. Big 5 Safari at Hluhluwe Game Reserve 2. Emdoneni Wildcat cat Sanctuary 3. False Bay 4. Bayete Elephant Interaction This was the best time of our lives as we thoroughly enjoy wildlife and the outdoors. Thank you Anew Hotel. We will be back !!"

Bushwillow Collection

"Bushwillow is neatly nestled into the bush and provides an amazing atmosphere. The walking trails inside Kuleni is a safari in itself. We saw giraffes, wildebeest, zebra, nyala, impala, worthog, mongoos, blue(?) duiker and guineafowl. The size and style of the rooms are excellent, and you've got all the ameneties you could wish for. The service was very flexible and good. Bushwillow provided an excellent base for our game drives. I will happily return soon!"

Emdoneni Lodge with Zululand Cat Conservation Project

"The best accommodation of our entire holiday. We booked four nights in the self-catering cottage in August. We received a very friendly welcome at reception, where the lady (sorry I can not remember her name) showed us around the lodge and the accommodation and explained everything to us. All of the staff, from reception to the dinner service to the night porter, were incredibly friendly, helpful and super nice. Large cottage with kitchenette is fully equipped. Very lovingly furnished and very cosy. Main bedroom with comfortable bed, large bathroom and very large outdoor shower (almost an outdoor landscape). Smaller bedroom for the children, but also with shower and toilet. Great garden with a fire pit, comfortable chairs and a bench for breakfast. Zebras visit regularly and the cottage is directly opposite the cat enclosure. Breakfast outside, eye to eye with cheetahs and caracals, was really special. The delicious dinner at the lodge (book in advance) is particularly recommended. Our children also spent every evening in the game room playing billiards and table tennis. Emdoneni is very well located – 30 minutes from Hluhluwe Park and 1 hour from St Lucia. Many, many thanks to the Emdoneni team. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back."

"I booked the family room. There is not a single window in the bathroom or toilet. No wi-fi for the entire weekend. No feedback at all. Owners went away for the weekend. Had to use the Wi-fi at Wimpy to do some work. No managing person in charge for the whole weekend. The lady at reception tried her best to help, but with no results."
