"Anew Hotel has the best staff, amazing pool, wonderful landscape, and location. They are close to KFC, steers, fishaways- however the hotel itself makes the most delicious food and desserts. Thami , Sbo and Giraad were always helpful and did their best to welcome us and make us comfortable. Our room- 100A ( separate from the main hotel, which was amazing as it had the view of the garden and our own parking and space), did noy have wifi coverage. We had to walk to the hotel itself for network. If you do not have data or an SA Sim card,this can be an issue. We did the following activities which were all in a 20 to 30 min close vicinity of the hotel. 1. Big 5 Safari at Hluhluwe Game Reserve 2. Emdoneni Wildcat cat Sanctuary 3. False Bay 4. Bayete Elephant Interaction This was the best time of our lives as we thoroughly enjoy wildlife and the outdoors. Thank you Anew Hotel. We will be back !!"

"This is a place where dreams come true. The service is so personalised that you feel like you were the only guest of the hotel. Everything is just perfect, from staff to venue setting and the variety of wildlife that it hosts, beautifully decorated accommodation, scrumptious food served in varied locations, to the spa facilities and the game park drives. Guides go out of their way for you to achieve your viewing objectives and the food packed for the away day not only is delicious, but well presented and served. "Sadly, we only discovered there was a mistake with our booking when we arrived at the property. We had contacted the property directly to book two nights and compared their quote with the one we had previously received from BushBreaks. The quote from Malkhoha appeared to be cheaper, so we accepted it, believing we were getting a better rate. Unfortunately, we only later discovered that the property had quoted us for one night only, while the BushBreaks quote was for two nights. The property charged us R18,450 for two rooms for a single night, whereas BushBreaks had quoted R25,400 for the same two rooms for two nights. When we raised this discrepancy with management, they were unwilling to provide a satisfactory explanation and instead asked us to check out. The whole experience left us feeling disappointed and misled. We struggle to understand how a third-party booking company can offer a rate that is so much better than the property's own direct pricing. Based on our experience, we do not recommend this property. We also feel that the rates being charged are excessive for what is being offered, particularly given the way this situation was handled."

"We stayed in a Small group at Thanda Safari with Americans siblings Alan and Elaine Johnson from Los Angeles. The food was exceptional and our guide and tracker exceptional. We met lady who has built a Viking House in the new Development called Petra Hamman- she was very interesting. We then did a Rhino procedure as part of our work with Thanda and Project Rhino."

"we had a lovely stay at bushwillow. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My husband loved the sounds of the frogs and birds while he braaied at night. We enjoyed some lovely walks around the park too, spotting some giraffe and nyala."

"This was the worst experience I have ever had . We went in with low standards considering the star rating as it was a last minute booking . Unfortunately it was worse than we thought. There was barely water in the showers and bugs / gekhos everywhere. This could have been overlooked but unfortunately there was a rat running in our room late at night and we did not sleep a wink. I will not recommend this place to anyone . "
