This is my fifth time to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam since 2019. I have been on package tours, but I have mostly traveled independently. This time, I booked a 3-night stay at Trip.com because I bought my flight tickets at a significant discount. It is a clean 4-star hotel in a good location near the Opera House, and I was 100% satisfied. The downside and advantage is that there is no restaurant space in the hotel, so breakfast is not provided, but it is a blessing in disguise because it gives me the opportunity to visit many famous Ho Chi Minh rice noodle restaurants. There are many better hotels and famous restaurants around the hotel, so this trip was a food trip. The hotel staff sent me KakaoTalk messages frequently, which was nice. It was good to ride the double-decker bus city tour that departs from the Opera House, and the subway station was close, so transportation was convenient.
