The room provided by this hotel was so bad. The toilet in the room was connected to the room, so I couldn't use the toilet in the middle of the night, otherwise the loud pumping sound would disturb my sleep. In addition, the room I booked had 4A paper on the wall. The room felt uncomfortable at first glance. It looked like a temporary pavilion (a storage space next to the stairs). It felt very bad. . I thought it was odd that breakfast was Included, but you had to pay to get a good cup of coffee. Instant coffee and tea were part of the complementary breakfast, but a brewed cup of coffee was $5
I would rather not have such an elaborate continental breakfast (cold cuts annd cheese) and coffee instead.

Very quiet and peaceful. Not a modern hotel, but clean and lovely. Not huge only 15 rooms. So great for something quiet and intimate. Historical property does not have usual modern conviences.

Our party had two separate rooms & both were impeccable. Large comfy beds, huge fluffy pillows, great bathrooms & well heated. This is a boutique hotel & the decor is quirky not dated. Breakfast was superb. The staff are young but next level in the service we were afforded. Had handed hire car back before drying in Hobart for the weekend, so parking not required. Walk to Salamanca Markets or into town for shopping. Will stay here again & definitely recommend.
