After several stays we had to find that there is a lot less staff in the hotel than in the last times. They are either very many on holiday or they simply hide themselves. The rooms in the jail are very nicely furnished, spacious and are also absolutely clean. Breakfast buffet is enough but there is no longer the best service. If not old-aged employees are on the ground, it doesn't work. This hotel is a fairytale experience. Staff can’t do enough for you. Setting is magical as is the ambience in the hotel. Food in the restaurant is top notch. Breakfast was amazing exceptional omelettes. Just book you won’t regret it. We have already book for next June.

Four star hotel, great breakfast! There are restaurants to eat. The room has a balcony, the scenery is super beautiful, and there is a large piece of grassland outside. There is a free gym and sauna. It takes half an hour by bus from Salzburg and 3.4 Euros per way, which is more suitable for self-driving. Looking forward to coming back, recommend!

The hotel is on a hill, near the lush vegetation, and the snow-capped mountains can be seen in the hotel when the weather is good. The hotel also runs a restaurant and the business is good. The hotel is also suitable for guests travelling by car.

Das Hotel Heffterhof liegt etwas versteckt in einem Wohngebiet, aber dennoch logistisch so gut, da man in die Innenstadt max. 30 min zu Fuß läuft oder den Linienbus Nr. 6 nehmen kann. Die Reservierung Sehr gut per Mail oder über ein Buchungsportal und sehr freundlich und verbindlich im Ton. Die Begrüßung Die jungen, meist weiblichen Personen waren sehr freundlich, um Lösungen bemüht und vorbildlich. Als Stoffel erwies sich jedoch der sogenannte „Chef der Rezeption“, der, ohne genau hinzuhören, unqualifizierte Antworten gab und den sehr guten Eindruck seiner Kolleginnen relativierte. Man merkte den Kolleginnen deutlich an, dass es ihnen auch unangenehm war. An den sogenannten Chef: Nehmen Sie sich ein Beispiel an ihren Kolleginnen und wenn Sie das nicht können oder Ressentiments gegen Personen aus Ihrem Nachbarland hegen, dann wechseln Sie bitte die Branche. Das Zimmer Sehr schön groß, sauber mit einer getrennten Toilette und einem separaten Bad. Laut war es nur, wenn andere Personen auf dem Flur in der Nacht sich laut unterhielten. Ab und zu verfing sich der Duft von Essen in unserem Zimmer. Das Frühstück Sehr gut in allen Bereichen mit vielen regionalen Produkten, sei es bei herzhaften oder süßen Speisen, bei warm oder kalt. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unsere Empfehlung Sehr gerne wieder - vielleicht aber erst dann, wenn der Chef der Rezeption etwas hinzu gelernt hat.
