The breakfast is average. The hotel does not have a restaurant. There is nothing to eat 10 kilometers away. There is no kitchen, which is super troublesome.

The hotel is very clean, and the person in charge of the hotel is warm and courteous. It is located next to Highway 1. There are 5 independent houses with magnificent scenery. The endless prairie in front of you can feel the tranquility of Iceland.

Facing the wilderness next to the road, it feels like being isolated and alone. It is run by a very warm and considerate family, and they were still waiting for us even when we arrived very late. The breakfast is delicious and the facilities are complete, which is great

The most wonderful and memorable stay. The cabins are beautifully appointed - simple yet elegant, excellent attention to detail in terms of taking care of guests - right down to homemade breakfast complete with local foods that made the experience even richer. When the northern lights came out the owner did all they could to make the already dark conditions even better by switching off the lights around the cabins and coming to be sure that all guests were aware the lights had come out!! Unforgettable stay. Highly recommended. The owner gave us incredibly helpful advice about the best sites for weather and road safety.

everything about Hrafnavellir Guest House is awesome. the guest house is family owned and operated and they make you feel right at home as soon as you walk thru the door. the rooms offer privacy from other guests, have great views, and the interior design is perfect.

Wow! what a lovely place to stay, the cabins are really nice, you get a great view to walk up too, there is no noise from the room next door :) , I wish we had stayed longer, Hofn is an easy 20 minute drive away and when you get back you can sit and chill with a glass of wine in the main building and plan the next day, they do wines by the glass or bottle, beers, spirits quite a choice while were were there the northern lights came out to play, teh owner alerted us and went round every cabin so that no one missed them. Breakfast is great, home made bread, apple cake and Skyr like her mother used to serve. We stayed in 7 different hotels and this is absolutely in our top 2 by a country mile

The cabin was clean, had a great views, and the breakfast was delicious!! They provided skyr made the way their mom/grandma made it and what a treat that was 😋 The host also came out to let us know at 11pm the Aurora Lights were out- incredible dance in the sky!🌌

This place was fantastic. The owners clearly take pride in the property, down to the little details. The cabins seemed new and were very clean (everything looks like the pictures). The main/reception house is lovely and full of art made or procured by the owner (photos, crafts, etc.). The included breakfast was amazing - local smoked salmon, icelandic yogurt, breads, meats, etc. (and even a shot of cod liver oil if you want one!). The cabins are 20 minutes outside Hofn in a gorgeous location. I have nothing negative to say about this place.

Fabulous guesthouse, in a secluded - yet easy to reach -place. Beautiful bedroom, nice and warmhearted staff, creative vibe. A perfect place to stay in that area. We had dozens swans crossings at sunset, silence, beauty, majestic views. Thank you!

Hravnavellir Guesthouse is an extraordinary example of how a family owned hospitality business can combine outstanding quality, unique attentions for guests, an excellent taste for design and beautiful objects, a great food experience, the warmth of feeling really welcome and the smiling and helpful presence of the owners. The night spent at Hravnavellir is one of the highlights of a trip that delivered natural highlights with incredible generosity. But this highlight is on the human side and I couldn’t be more grateful to have met the owners of the Guesthouse and to have enjoyed a night in this incredible place.

Great welcome and really amazing breakfast! The owner introduced many local and delicious specialties. The room was very comfortable, located in the middle of nowhere. We highly recommend this guesthouse on the round trip around Iceland.

Fantastic cabins with a view of the sea and the spectacular mountains. Family driven with very interesting and friendly people. Everything is self made and homemade, the work of the buildings, the decorations and the food they serve. We will definitely visit them and the cabins again for a longer stay.
