Lantern Riverside Hoi An

My sister and I stayed here for two nights and we are very happy that we decided to pick this property. The owners Huang and Khanh are very kind and they woke up at 5:30 am to welcome us and give us an early check in without any additional cost. We took the room with the balcony and river view. The room was cosy and very clean. Very quiet place and we enjoyed our little chats with Huang. She got us fresh Banh Mi, Vietnamese Bread for breakfast and it was yummy. Also, she helped us with airport pick up and tour to My Son at a very reasonable price. The hotel is very close to the market so you can shop to your heart's content and rush back to leave the stuff in hotel room instead of carrying it around in just 10 min walk. We recommend this place of you are looking for a quiet , simple, cosy and very clean place to stay without spending too much. You will get your money's worth and much more. Look forward to come back some day!

At arrival, Mr Binh took my wife luggage directly to our Room. After explanation of the homestay rules and services, Mr Bình gave us a Hug and told us we’re part of his family while we are in. He really meant it ! We had a wonderfull time at his place. Good food, Clean room, Nice pool, quiet place. I couldn’t find any bad comments to tell. We salute you Mr. Bình.

I think one of the reasons that makes Hoi An so attractive is that the local people are so friendly. Just as Koreans have affection, this place is also full of affection. Personally, I came here for a cooking class because there was a local market nearby. The family living at home are really kind and helped me more than anyone else during this trip. I received help with nearby restaurants, things to do in Hoi An, and even bus routes for departure. I liked it so much that I stayed a day longer than planned, but I had a lot to think about. However, if you want to be treated with respect like a hotel, go to a hotel. This is a homestay. It is a place where you can interact directly with the locals and feel the atmosphere of this place. I really recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the modern family culture of Hoi An while backpacking. I don't often write reviews, but this place makes me want to write one.
Thu Bon Riverside Homestay

This family puts their heart and soul into running this homestay. Everything is perfect -- rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean, there is a mosquito netting for the bed (I've stayed in many tropical hotels/homestays and this is the first I've seen), many little things have been thought out in advance for guest comfort. 2 of the upstairs rooms are amazing, you get a balcony view of the river. The balcony is shared with the adjoining room, but quite large. Everything is working well, nothing is in disrepair. There is hot water for showering. There is clean drinking water from a reverse-osmosis system in the kitchen. There is hot drinking water in the thermos flasks. There is laundry service, the matriarch washes the clothing by hand. The family is attentive and caring. Real people. Their little dog is cute and friendly. How can you say no to such a place?

Hoi An Ancient Town
The inn is located in the ancient city of Hoi An, convenient for shopping and eating. It is very late to see the lanterns of the ancient city at night. There is also a night market at night, with local snacks, which are not visible during the day. Selling crafts is also cheaper than during the day. The room was clean and the price was great! With balcony, comfortable and airy

Stay was great, if you’re looking to explore Hoi an it is an inexpensive homestay with decent amenities. Thankful to the owners for being super accommodating when I came back late on 2 occasions at around 2/3am. 😅 Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.
