Hotel is very beautiful and good design, especially interior very luxury and comfortable. Function of furniture is great and light is very good. View from my room is fantastic. Food is good, especially breakfast buffet. The desert cafe downstair is wonderful. However, the service is very poor. People who work and clean at my floor has such a bad manner. Hotel should educate your people. how manner should be, how polite should be , how helpful should have. You should teach your people to be gentle to guest.

A fantastic stay during the National Day break. The rooms are great, breakfast is varied and tasty, service from everyone was flawless. We really felt like everything was taken care of.

Attentive staff, large room and decent amenities, with great view on pool deck but very dated hotel decor.

1. Room: excellent facility with warm/welcoming staff, helped change room as the side panel got some issues (highlight: perfect mandarin/english, professional service to all guests no matter where she/he is from). 2. Service: room service was excellent. However, the spa staff was in the rush (we could obviously tell that she is running out of time, no pleasant farewell. The spa mean to be a luxurious experience while I feel there is much to improve in terms of presentation). 3. Restaurant: we had lunch at 8th floor restaurant twice, excellent food, outstanding staff and sophisticated service, sparked the stay.

During our six-day stay at the HK Shangri-La, we had a great experience that we'd love to share. On the first day, the front desk manager, Vivian Law, warmly welcomed us and introduced us to the hotel’s facilities. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast on the 56th floor, lunch at the Summer Palace, dinner at Yun on the 8th floor, and snacks at the Horizon Club. The food and service were both excellent. We highly recommend this hotel not only for these, but also for its convenient location next to all public transportation. Rosemary Mark

Booked the Grand Premier Peak View King (Newly Renovated) room for accommodation before our big day. As we would have simple photo shoot inside the room, we asked the hotel if we could be arranged to a room with good view. The hotel was so kind to have upgraded our room to higher floor and the view was very nice. The facilities in the room was new and easy to use. Hotel staff was very nice and friendly. With a combination of traditional exterior and modern decoration inside the room, I will recommend this room to everyone.
