An old-fashioned hotel in the city center of HK, and interesting that many elderly tourists stay in this hotel. They are perhaps overseas Chinese from Southeast Asia, as the hotel name indicates. The location is great so that many places are within the walking distance. It’s worth staying for city lovers.

Hotel room was clean, although had to change the room as the cleaning detergent used is very smelly, basically unbearable. Room was changed instantly, but general perception influenced cause sometimes no alternative rooms might be available. Bed was worn out, could feel the springs of the mattress. Body wash wasn’t working, luckily I had my own soap, then it was replaced immediately after I talked to the cleaner. Don’t know if I expect too much for the price but the detergent definitely must be worked on, I never experienced such smell and I sleep 200+ nights in hotels in the past few years… Location was silent though which was rather pleasant as was the self checkin counter.

The place is easy to find, very conveniently located near a metro station. Clean and spacious enough to not feel claustrophobic. Breakfast had variety of dishes that could suit any taste. Reception dest manager, cleaning ladies all were very nice and spoke English and 普通话. All in all it was a nice a experience.

Convenient location, price is okay as well. May recommend others to stay at this hotel as well. 

Overall I am happy with my stay at this hotel for my 4 days trip :) and the room looks clean and bright. And breakfast is with sufficient choice to me.

A bit old but it worked for a business trip by myself. Old furnitures, impossibile to recharge staff near the bed, a bit cigarettes flavours in the room and old house smell in the corridor. Good position in Wanchai, close by there is everything. The reception even suggested me a laundry shop (instead of their own service)

I feel compelled to write this supplemental review because i found out right before checking out that the reason my room was less expensive was not only because i was restricted to a lower floor which I did not mind, but also that the lower floors also meant they had not been renovated and were in notably inferior condition to the renovated floors. I can only say that this leaves bad taste in my mouth that the distinction between lower and upper floors were not made clear in any of the marketing materials that I could see. I suppose its 'buyers beware'!

Right at bowrington market area. Convenient for transport and foods.

Good location and service! Room very clean and auto topup drinking water everyday. Lots of nice local restaurants nearby walking distance.

My mum is 90 and in a wheelchair. She love the room because her wheelchair can fit in and she can use her walker to the bathroom. The newly renovated hotel is very cozy, the room design has been thoughtful for users. Staff are friendly and efficient, they helped us to the room which we appreciate very much.
