The hotel is not particularly new but the facilities are complete and the rooms are large. It was upgraded and I felt comfortable facing the sea. There are many restaurants downstairs for dining, which is convenient. Parking is free and someone will help you store and retrieve the car. Don't forget to tip.

Second stay at Ashton Waikiki Beach Tower, this time we booked through Costco and chose Premium Beachfront Condo, these are located on top floors and offer spectacular views. Our unit was a corner unit so the side and back also had lots of light and views of the mountains in the back. Highly recommend the property for service, cleanliness, and location.

Such a great hotel. Hands down the best Hotel that we have stayed in the USA. Perfect location and wonderful staff that were always able and willing to help you with any question or request. Great courtesy pack of sunscreen, lip balm, face cream and 4 water bottles that could be refilled in reception with filtered chilled water. An extremely large and well appointed apar**ent with beautiful 180 degree views of the ocean from the living areas and balcony.

I do not get the reviews for this place. People rave about this place and it makes zero sense to me. We were initially given a room that smelled of mildew. When we asked to please be moved due to the horrendous mildew smell they nicely obliged. However, they moved us to a room that smells of onions. Even my kids were complaining of the smell. We gave up at that point as we were only staying for a few days to visit Pearl Harbor. On top of the smell it is not clean at all. I’d think out of all the rooms available they could find us one that didn’t smell awful and is clean, but apparently it’s not possible. I would never recommend this hotel nor stay here again, it’s been a huge disappoin**ent .
