A previous review left a day before I stayed at the Monarch stated there was a bed bug problem. I woke during my stay to an incredible amount of bites on my back, neck, and arms. When I connected with the hotel manager Vanessa proceeded to deny the claims of having bed bugs. I decided to see a dermatologist out of fear that I could have something worse. The dermatologist confirmed I had a bad case of bed bug bites, to the point that he said "that hotel is lying to you." Vanessa, the hotel manager, continues to deny the problem and only compensated for the night we left the reservation early after discovering the bed bug problem. Do not stay at this hotel. Very dishonest service from them.
