I get here to check in and the front desk worker of 2 yrs say to me your card is declining, I say how?? If I haven't given you the card, its different from the card I used to book.(never assume, always ask if the person is using the same card to pay as they used to book.) She say ok the system is ready for you to pay. I tap to pay and she say oh i accidentally hit cancel, we just got a new system, my apologies. I say let me check my account and I show her the amount is pending and she need to process and dont charge the card again. She called her manager Liz and they were convinced they walked thru the process and I will not be charged a second time. Well I was charged a second time , I called the bank they stated they see the charges and stated the business/ hotel need to release one of the charges. The hotel staff and manager blamed the bank and stated they only see one charge, the other disappeared.They also stated that the solution would be for me to check out the hotel for the charges to clear, but I couldn't actually stay in the hotel after they processed me out!!! And go where? Im from out of town! The staff member stated she was the only employee working front desk and its hard because when things go wrong others have to wait. Yes there was a line of people that had issues and others that needed to be checked in. Oh and I had to be moved due to my first room tv didn't work, but as soon as she moved me she checked someone in that exact room. Last time booking here!
