We enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel. It was lovely. Quiet, beds are heavenly comfy, my little one loved it too. Breakfast was really good. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel, very comfortable and convenient with an excellent breakfast. Coffee took much longer than it should have to arrive.

Disappointing experience. I booked a room expecting a double bed and bathtub but it turned out the only rooms with bathtubs had single beds. After having a room changed, the room I was given hadn’t been cleaned so I had to change for a third time. The amenities are limited. When asking for a razor, they didn’t have but also couldn’t tell me where to buy one nearby (There’s a terminal next to it with a boots and WH Smith, surely that’s not hard to say). Not sure about things such as toothbrushes and toothpaste but maybe that’s because I live in Asia? The French restaurant was just as disappointing, they failed to provide me the full dinner that was offered on the menu. On the plus side, the third room I had was clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff in the French restaurant were also excellent.

Location maybe good for business travellers, but not for tourist. Thou, its next to airport, but main london is quiet far for tourist and cost is considerable if you plan to do up and down from this location. Reception Staff is really the plus point, very helpful. Ambience overall and in room is good. Cost per night is high for what is being offered.

Excellent hotel - walkway from North terminal, just a few minutes from check in. Staff friendly, good range of dining options. Family room excellent - spacious, quiet, comfortable beds. Easily accommodated a family of 5.

The place was fine. Honestly I expected a bit more amenities for the price that I paid. No slippers and they were saying that I didn’t have a reservation or that they could not find my reservation after I didn’t even show up at the checkin time. I showed up at least two hours after I was allowed to check in and they still didn’t have my reservation which was annoying because I just really wanted to get it my room and lay down.

My choice for catching next day’s flight in Gatwick. It is convenient to travel for an early flight.

A very easy experience staying at Sofitel Gatwick. A good service as soon as I arrived, perfect location and good price as well. Exactly what I needed with the access to Gatwick

This is a comfortable hotel that is connected to the north terminal. It is not the usual luxurious five stars but is adequate for a couple of nights.

Hotel right at the Gatwick airport, which is very convenient for early flights. Literally 3 min walk to departures. The staff was very friendly and made very good suggestions like the possibility to check in the luggage the night before flying. This way you do not have to rush that much early in the morning. The restaurants were quite decent food-wise and the room was very spacious. I would definitely recommend it to anyone on a business trip and looking for a hotel near Gatwick airport.

No hairdryer, otherwise fine. Decent fish n chips in the restaurant.

Flight was delayed and we couldn’t get to the next connecting flight in time. And so we booked a night stay. Love the quiet floor and room was very cozy after 23hrs travelling. Love the Vietnamese Restaurant, had a lovely delicious meal before resting.
