I would strongly caution anyone considering a stay here. During my visit, three cars were broken into overnight—one of them within 50 feet of the front entrance. When I notified the front desk around 9 AM on Saturday, they said they didn’t want to wake the manager to review the security cameras. The police informed us that there have been a lot of break-ins recently in this area, especially around neighboring hotels. The fastest action the hotel took was sweeping up the broken glass after the police arrived. There was no sense of urgency or proactive communication from management, and the night staff seemed completely unaware or unprepared to monitor for suspicious activity. Based on the lack of vigilance and poor response to theft, I would seriously consider another location for safety and peace of mind

This was relatively inexpensive and you get what you pay for. No frills. Breakfast is seemingly prepared and reheated or microwaved. Very few staff to be found and very few room amenities such as body lotion or water. It is clean and the beds are comfortable.

Our AC broke and being in Texas, the humidity hits really quickly. The room got really hot and the room started to smell really stale and funky. We asked if we could get a new room, but they were completely booked that weekend so there was no available room. Additionally, the maintenance went home and this was around maybe 8pm? How are they going to have a booked out hotel, but not have a maintenance on staff if something were to go wrong? Furthermore, I am pregnant with my 8 month old baby so it was so uncomfortable staying in the humid room. The difference being in the hallway, to walking in a stale hot smelly room without AC really hits you in the face. Also, when I used the phone in the hotel to call the operator/front desk to explain the situation, she was very rude and spoke in a bored tone. She did not offer to do anything to help make the situation better, but spoke to me like I was dumb and there was nothing they can do. I just felt like, as a staff member representing the hotel, even if there was nothing they could do because the hotel was completely booked and maintenance went home, they should at least try to be apologetic and try to say things to ease the situation. Anyway, would not reccomend!

We stay at this location approximately once a month. We have used several other hotels in the area in the past, but have landed at this one for over a year. Location, cleanliness, price and staff. It is surrounded by restaurants, almost to many to make an easy choice. staff has always gone out of the way for us, and the hotel and rooms clean and in working condition.

My work colleagues and I are so pleased with this property that we all consider it our first choice when we make a business trip to our office in Houston. The hotel is adjacent to a parking area that serves multiple restaurants, so after work you can park at the hotel and walk a couple of minutes at most to several very good restaurants.

Not stocked enough for the bar. Breakfast was just so so. They could improve with the quality @ quantity. Staff not helpful. Rooms & Lobby furniture was old and paint was chipped. Some fittings were missing and broken.
