Thompson Houston, Part of Hyatt

This is an absolutely gorgeous property! I actually stumbled upon this property after an initial plan to stay at another Hyatt property. For many reasons I ended up leaving that property immediately after check in and proceeded to this gem. The service is top notch and definitely ranks as some of the best service experienced during domestic travel. The front desk team was probably some of the most helpful and genuinely nice staff that I have encountered. Tiffany was amazingly understanding at checkin when I explained the situation to her at the other property and was extremely accommodating when she did not have to be. At checkout, Kaneshia ensured that everything was in order and answered all of my questions regarding some charges that she assured me would be removed (and they were). Sol 7 (the restaurant) was also great! After only having one meal there I was greeted the next day with a smile and by name. Amazing customer service all around! The room was impeccably clean and very modern with great amenities. The roof top pool was awesome and the gym facility allows for a pretty decent workout. I am a Hyatt globalist member and their benefits generally include late checkout, breakfast at Sol 7, an upgraded room if available, and early check in if available. I received all of these benefits. I cannot wait until my next trip to the area as I already know where I will be staying!

Monica was great pool side !!! Very attentive and made sure that every need was met ! She. Priced I didn’t have sunglasses , which I lost the day before , and offered me a pair in this Houston heat! It truly made a difference . As a globalist, she is the standard of service.

Cedric was a great driver for us. Very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our trip. We also enjoyed the vehicle being driven in. Great experience and highly recommend this service and hotel stay. Everything is top notch and comfortable. Restaurant and rooms are top tier.

My husband and I were looking for an upscale hotel to stay in for our anniversary. Everything was very clean and nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool.

Great rooms / facilities. Rooms were very clean and the gym was equipped with everything you need for a hotel and maybe a little bit more. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the gents on the ground floor entrance…always saying hi and helping with doors.

My husband and I stayed at the Thompson Houston for a two-night staycation. We love this hotel! The staff is amazing - so welcoming! The spa is excellent. The pool area and the view can’t be beat in Houston. Quality of the food was excellent, and the view from the room was outstanding. We loved the easy access to the walking trails along Buffalo Bayou. A new Houston treasure for sure!

This has been an outstanding experience and we will be returning. My wife and I experienced the pool, good food, and the spa. All were excellent experiences. The view of downtown was amazing and the panoramic suite is the best. The service is amazing!
